Why BLM Rally Around George Floyd And Not Brianna Taylor

I can understand people being angry about Brianna Taylor's death since she was overall an innocent person. Her death was brought up, but the majority of the rioters were more angry about Floyd.

 

His was videoed, hers was not.

 

That...and the investigation didn't make her look good.

 

Floyd didn’t look good either when you looked at his past, but the video of him was all people needed. Who cares how many drugs he was on, how many crimes he committed and who he assaulted over the years. A cop kneeled on him and his heart gave out due to enough drugs in his system to kill most people. But it was definitely the knee

 

not sure who brianna taylor is, but I know that Floyd was an ex criminal, and a junkie. Narratives that fit the Far Left Wing radical agenda very well.

I think the difference is that Floyd's crimes were in the past; the very recent past if you count the passing the counterfeit bill, buy all the world saw on video was him not moving with a cop on top of him.

amazing anyone would ask this, Floyd was handcuffed and in police custody

Taylor was busting through a barricaded door to get to those on the other side

 

both were on video, just one was shot while committing a crime, one was slowly killed after handcuffed

uuum he died…after committing a crime, swallowing a bunch of drugs, then being arrested, then resisting arrest, then being kneeled on until his heart destroyed by years of drug use, gave out, due to the stress of someone leaning on his back, shoulders and neck.

Not a simple story as the cops just killed him.

Not really. Once he knew something was up he should have got off him. Combination of fear of the crowd and Floyd lying many times earlier. Still wasn’t running anywhere quickly in that state. If Floyd was faking and made a move, he could have controlled him. Shitty situation either way. But Floyd was not a good person by any measure. He put himself in that situation and easily could have sat in a jail cell that night if he just sat in the car and let them take him away.

 

neither the cop or Floyd were good people imo - the cop also put himself in that position, and could have easily been enjoying freedom right now had he not done that to Floyd
