Please tell us what "majority Black societies" you have lived in. I'm curious.

You are the empty headed one. Because you don't know the difference between racism and bias. A person has to have power to be racist. Here in America Blacks have never really had much power. Now, you don't need to have power to be biased. So, Blacks are capable of being biased. Only Whites are capable of being racist.

Outside of Rawar people I don't think anyone of any race admits to being racist. Sometimes people admit to prejudices but everyone is prejudiced. To deny that is to deny science since that is simply how our brains function.

You do NOT have to have power to be Racist. That is an out and out invention by the left to excuse black racism. Just check the dictionary.

OK, you are very sure that only whites can be racist.....only blacks can be biased. So a mixed person of both black and white have the capability of both?

    Are you sure?

Cool! Here in Korea Koreans have the power so I'll go beat the (*)(*)(*)(*) of some local shouting "(*)(*)(*)(*) you gook" and then that isn't racist.

That's a laughable perversion of basic biological taxonomy. You pervert simple biology for political reasons,

Moriah, why do you believe in such things? You are the 1st person I have been exposed to that thinks this way let alone express it.

Any other wisdom with race or ethnic background I should be aware of?

The one drop rule is an archaic legal standard not a basic principle of biology. Obviously any individual with parentage from two populations is a mix of those populations. You are confusing biological and legal definitions of Black.

It is still relevant considering it was once a legal standard.

Thanks Glock, never heard of the 1 drop rule. Seems to be a modern concept invented by man for whatever reason......and to which I do not subscribe. I still do not get her statement:

"You are the empty headed one. Because you don't know the difference between racism and bias. A person has to have power to be racist. Here in America Blacks have never really had much power. Now, you don't need to have power to be biased. So, Blacks are capable of being biased. Only Whites are capable of being racist."

I don't get it either, in my opinion anybody can express racism, there is no color requirement.

It's just a shakedown from non-White racists. A Negro punching a White man in the face shouting "kill the cracker" is "biased". Ok... "Only White people ever have any power" Ok...

I've heard it before and I think it sets a bad precedent to say that one must have power or be a member of a group that has power to be racist. If you look at the etymology of the word it was simply meant to label Nazi policies and like-minded ideologies. Anyone can be racist and there are varying degrees and forms of racism.

What is the biological definition of Black?

The genetic clusters demarcated by discontinuity in genetic simlarity associated with sub-Saharan African ancestry.

Sub-Saharan African ancestry? Would that exclude Supra-Saharan Africans with dark skin like the Haratin and some Tuareg?

Black is after all a reference to skin color. Certainly skin color variation is heritable but if we look at skin reflectance as a category we find that populations with different skin colors cluster in to discordant geographic clines.

No, "Black" in this case is a metaphor for a group of genetic clusters. You can substitute "SS African ancestry genetic cluster" if simple metaphors confuse you, or if you pretend they do.

its not for you to decide how somebody else describes themselves. You can call yourself white if you like but thats as far as you can take it.

"A person has to have power to be racist". That means only people who have the power to make laws i.e. slavery, Jim Crow, segregation laws, can be racist. Black people never had this power.
