What!? 36-58 is now 33-66? Seems to me like you had the 33 spread off by 11 - and that's when you cherry pick.

As I've already said, the RCP average is half what you said his approval is. Yes, you made 33-66 up. Even AFTER cherry picking you can't find anything even close to that.

Remember that the Hillary Clinton campaign actually SERIOUSLY considered as her Campaign them "It's her turn!"

And Hillary Clinton's own words at a speech "Don't you want to see a woman president?"

I think women in this country deserve a candidate who doesn't have to resort to playing the woman card. They also deserve a woman candidate who isn't promoting herself as the third term of her male predecessors presidency.

Agree. Not promoting race would be nice too. I still remember the first time I heard Obama described as black. 40 years after MLK taught us to judge by character, not skin color... Barack was packaged, marketed and sold as a black man by the DNC. Tsk tsk. :(

Most of the other Republican primaries are not as wacko as Donald Trump. Mike Pence is very conservative, but at least he appears to be sane.

You made that all up. What you wrote has no basis in fact.

Very few people expected Hillary Clinton to rise to the level of Barack Obama. As to why Trump run, it was due to the vagaries of our electoral college system. He only won 46.4 percent of the popular vote, meaning that 53.6 percent of the voters did not cast their ballot for Trump. A minority of voters, 88 percent of whom have not regretted their choice (meaning that 12 percent have), forced Trump onto the majority due to our antiquated system for "electing" a president.

You might try checking facts before posting.

None of those Republicans you listed count as "conservatives". Four of them are RINOs, one is a big business, pro-immigration Republican (Marco Rubio), and one is a libertarian (Rand Paul). Seriously, you have Ted Cruz and Trey Gowdy in Washington you can count as conservatives, and the rest are either establishment Republicans or have no following. As a conservative myself, yes, I'm embarrassed to have Trump as my president and yes, I'd much rather have Pence as prez, but no, I would not welcome impeachment because that would only encourage those bastards, and I don't want to do that. Keep them on the losing side for as long as possible. As for Trump, all we can do is hope that Pence, et. al., keep him from doing any serious damage.

Did I understand you correctly? Did you write in effect that 36 minus 33 equals 11? Or did you mean that 66 minus 58 equals 11? I believe I recommended in an earlier post that you purchase a calculator and learn to use it. 36 percent is very close to 1 in 3 and 58 percent is not too far off from 2 in 3.

Instead of fussily nitpicking the numbers, why don't you pay attention to the substance of the post?

What fact do you deny... that the dems didnt expect Hillary to win?

Yeah, yeah... that antiquated electoral system, just like our outdated Constitution. And those pesky Russians. In fact, if you stand on one leg and squint your right eye, you can see Hillary sitting behind that big desk in the oval office. Bill curled up on a rug in front of the fireplace. Its a beautiful fantasy, nearly makes me cry. :sniff:

Of course Trump is not a conservative. He's a Manhattan socialite.

Lol, if you have such great difficulty reading very basic English, you should look to your own shortcomings instead of trying to fabricate them in others.

I'll try to break it down such that a child could understand. You said the polls were 2 to 1. This may be expressed as 66-33, where the "-" isn't in fact, as some slower blokes may believe, exclusively used as a subtraction symbol. It's used to mark differences in scoring. For example if the Patriots beat the Falcons 35 to 28, it may be marked as 35-28. Likewise, if a poll shows one candidate ahead by two to one, it may be expressed as 2-1, or 66-33 (notice that 66 is 33x2, and 33 is 33x1....).

When someone says a poll is 2 to 1, that means 66-33. That creates a NET of 33, the gap between one view and the other. If someone is in fact wrong and the net is only 22, then they are off the NET by 11, which is a significant amount. If they had to cherry pick a poll to get to that, they might have DOUBLED the NET over what the polling average actually indicates.

I'm happy to educate my fellow man, but if you need any more help with very basic math, you should seek a local elementary school.

You are correct. I have trouble understanding your "basic English." The sentences "That creates a NET of 33, the gap between one view and the other. If someone is in fact wrong and the net is only 22, then they are off the NET by 11, which is a significant amount." still have me scratching my head as does your use of the word "blokes." Even the British have pretty much stopped using that word.

Apparently your Russian-to-English translation algorithm still has a few bugs in it. Perhaps you can ask Dear Vladamir to increase funding for the project. In return, I will attempt to stop "trying to fabricate them in others," whatever that means. Your translation algorithm didn't get that one quite right either.

Hillary would have lost to almost any of the top 5 in the Republican primary. She's just a horrible candidate (and person).

Yes, but they wouldn't be wasting precious political capital on inter White-House bullshit like we are currently seeing. They would have a full administration almost in place, unlike the current situation.

I don't see where Schumer would run appointments any quicker for the other candidates than he is for Trump.

I'm talking across the government, not just the judicial branch.
