A near death experiencer was shown that a fig tree was also the tree of knowledge of good and evil in Eden.......

Adam and Eve clothed themselves with the closest thing to themselves when they fell.... fig leaves.

Near death experiencer Kevin Zadai states that during his near death experience Jesus told him that He had cursed the fig tree.. .and then hung Himself on it.

In his online course "Unveiling Israel" he and a tour guide who has made over 150 trips to Israel talk about the theory of how Jerusalem corresponds to some degree with The Garden of Eden.

Another detail is added that Jesus carried his cross post to the crucifixion much as Isaac - Yitzhaq carried the wood for the offering that Abraham was making........

and then the cross post was nailed to that cursed fig tree.......

the two thieves on their own cross posts were nailed below Messiah Yeshua - Jesus on that same tree....... It is very difficult for people being crucified to talk to each other at any distance due to their lungs filling with fluid........ Their all being hung on the same tree would explain how they could still communicate.......

The thief who did not repent... became one of the "goats for Azazel" that were talked about in Leviticus chapter sixteen..... Bar Abbas / Barabbas was also a "goat for Azazel" who was released.......

I am not sure if he mentions this in this video... but this one came up when I did a search for "Kevin Zadai fig tree" on youtube.....

Could it be a grandson of Bar Abbas who is now in power in the Palestinian Territories?????????

Legend says, since then the fig fruits started to resemble a&&holes. :b0x0rz:

    Just kidding, Dennis. ;)

Btw, the fig tree is relatively small, so one would be very troubled to nail a post with a grown man to it. That is if we take that whole story literally. Just sayin'.

Thank you for that interesting question...... there is a really big fig tree in California.

Some fig trees in the Middle East do grow to be twenty feet or six meters high.

Another fascinating detail is added by that same near death experiencer Kevin Zadai.....

he was shown that Jesus went as far down as the lowest level of hell during the three days when he was in the heart of the earth.

That was likely from sunset on Wednesday... then Thursday in thirty one Current Era was oThe First Day of Unleavened Bread, that year.... then the women prepared the spices on Friday....... then they rested on the weekly Sabbath Saturday.... then they went to the tomb on Sunday morning and Jesus had already risen. If the crucifixion was on a Wednesday and the burial before sunset on Wednesday.... and if Jesus escorted the repentant thief on the cross around Paradise on Wednesday afternoon before sunset... .... then Jesus probably went to hell at sunset as the First day of Unleavened Bread... Wednesday at sunset.... [as an annual High Sabbath] began........ So..... I am thinking that Jesus may have added the unrepentant thief to his army that we raised up with Him at His RESURRECTION... which I believe would have been on Saturday around sunset as the weekly Sabbath ended and the first day of the week began ??!!!!!

Kevin Zadai's near death experience account book can be heard for free by signing up for his book

"Heavenly Visitation" that is also his first Theology Course that he offered.

It is free of charge to register for that course... as well as for the one entitled

    "Days of Heaven on Earth"

    https://www.warriornotesschool.com

    ....

Note.. that eighty foot high fig tree in California is merely two centuries old.... but if it was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good vs Evil tree in Jerusalem... then you would be talking here about a four thousand year old fig tree!!!!!????

It is chapter six of near death experiencer Kevin Zadai's book that goes into Jesus going to hell.......... it is deeply emotionally moving both for the author as well as for the listener.

Note.. the tour guide who has travelled to Israel more than one hundred and fifty times put forward a somewhat different theory.... but what was shown to Kevin Zadai was similar to what the tour guide wondered about... but somewhat different. This is extremely interesting information that can wake us up out of a spiritual sleep or lukewarm attitude.

Here are the specifics on the course what that Israeli tour guide that go into more detail on the information related to all of this, [but the part about the Wednesday crucifixion and Saturday resurrection is something that i was taught back in the 1970's by Evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong].

Chapter six of Heavenly Visitation about Jesus going to hell is far, far, far more important information than just about anything that I believe a Christian can hear about at this time. I had assumed something like this for decades... but it was powerful to hear that a near death experiencer had been shown specifics.

    [Matthew chapter twelve]....
    The Sign of Jonah

38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees told Jesus, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”

39 But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign. Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, 40 because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.
41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment and condemn the people living today, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. But look—something greater than Jonah is here!42 The queen of the south will stand up and condemn the people living today, because she came from so far away to hear the wisdom of Solomon. But look! Something greater than Solomon is here!”

I personally believe that the following article is INCORRECT... and I personally believe the testimony of near death experiencer Kevin Zadai about what Jesus told him about his actually going to hell during those three days!!!!!

Did Jesus go to hell between His death and resurrection?

As you can see from the sentence that I put in bold.... I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT THIS ARTICLE IS TERRIBLY INCORRECT!!!!!

Now that we have brought up the topic of hell......

this may be a good place to introduce you to the first part of the near death experience of former Atheist Howard Storm.

What he reports about hell could remind us of a modern Zombie movie????!!!!!!

Why thank you, Dennis, we have two fig trees in our yard, I know what I am talking about. ;)
Plus the Scriptures don't mention any fig trees on Golgotha.

Why complicate things where they don't need any complications? It's been a well known symbol that fig tree - the Israelis. :)

I like that idea of the fig tree being a symbol of the Israelis because there is an ancient tradition that in a real sense.....

Adam and Eve FELL UPWARD and ended up prepared to play out a role in "The Restoration of All Things" that they could not have played
so effectively if they had not given into the temptation to take and eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.... [in spite of the fact that in a sense
they were stealing something THAT DID NOT BELONG TO THEM.... because the Creator of Eden had the authority of course to put one tree in Eden
that they were not allowed to eat of]!

To my thinking the most compelling reason to attempt to explain these things in a manner that is more complicated.....

is because OVERSIMPLIFICATION of Huge Truths can be profoundly OFFENSIVE to people who are scientific and analytical and logical in their thinking........

Here is an example given by the Tour Guide in chapter two of the second part of the course "Unveiling Israel."

This principle of the full truth on a statement in Genesis or elsewhere in the Bible making sense if it is looked at in another way......
applies all across the board and I believe that we are not living in the time period when finally......
... the wrath of our Creator...... that is combined with tremendous mercy, grace and even humour.....
can now be understood for the first time......

because what we are seeing with the expansion of computer technology in a sense has relevance even to how our Creator....
the Being of Light of near death experience fame....
grew and increased in ability and technological capability over infinite time in the past.....

and now our Creator is doing eight billion INTERACTIVE reality film projects with each and every human who lives on the earth at this time!

Yes, the cross of Jesus Christ really should have been made from the fig tree he cursed. It was forbidden to cut down living trees near the city, so Roman soldiers could immediately take a dried tree for their needs.

I grew up with a fig tree in my back yard. Fig trees stay small by pruning them. That makes the fruits bigger and sweeter. There was a giant fig tree, 30 feet high in the neighbor's yard. But they never watered it, and the fruits were tiny and worthless. Fig trees will grow giant if allowed to. I ate so many figs in my youth. My cousins had 3 fig trees and since they pruned their trees every year, as my dad did ours, they stayed small (8 feet tall and 8 feet wide, and the fruits big and sweet!

Well, we never prune ours and they never grow taller than 3 m. But then we don't live in Palestine, may be there fig trees grow to be 10 m high. Although I do think their trees also grow wide and bushy as ours, so it is quite impossible to nail a cross with an "executed criminal" to a fig tree and not look ridiculous. The fig tree is not a hemlock, it has many trunks. It's essentially a bush.
I'm pretty sure the whole "fig tree" business is a metaphor, as already mentioned. ;)

I just found an interesting and somewhat related article to the topics that we get into in this discussion.

I used political forum .com as a place to store really useful links for future reference.

"How Long Was Jesus Really in the Grave?" by William Dankenbring.
