Why did the little girl leave China out of her temper tantrum?

I haven't paid much attention to the 12 year old kid who leftists have been using as a human shield for their attempts to seize economies behind the global warming thingy, although it's been hard to not notice her, what with the fawning Democratic Party operatives who pose as journalists for the U.S. mainstream media.

But one thing I did notice is the little girl is calling out, or suing, or something, Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, and Turkey for their failures to curb their carbon economies, or some such nonsense.

But not China, the world's worst carbon polluter? Or even India?

Perhaps one of my leftist friends can explain the reasoning this little girl's handlers are using?

Why not China? Why are the little kid's handlers not mentioning them?

 

Probably because in 2013 because it was losing over 1.1 million people each year to air pollution China set itself very lofty goals to eliminate it's chronic air quality problems.While it still has severe problems especially in the Fall and Winter they have spent and continue to spend hundreds of billions trying to do away with coal fired power plants and steel mills.They have made good progress but still have a long way to go.

We still have polluting coal powered power plants, as do most countries, but they are all striving to replace them with renewables as quick as they can afford to.

Interesting how Republicans are exasperated because a kid is giving them lessons in how responsible adults should behave. Not to mention lessons in science.

 

No idea why she didn’t mention China. Maybe she was nervous and forgot. I’m not a cynical person so I don’t think everything is a conspiracy. To be honest I don’t quite understand why people are butt hurt over some 15 yr old not mentioning China

What is sick is attacking a 16 year old personally, instead of proving that something she said is wrong. Just because she's obviously smarter than those who attack her. Starting with Trump. But, of course, being smarter than Trump is no great challenge.

The same reason they didn’t include the USA. None of those countries have ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child that the case is being brought under.

 

According to one talking head, she is suing based on some UN treaty that we are not apart of, so she has no grounds to sue the US.

I like Gen Z. From Greta to Parkland... these kids really have Republicans by the balls.

 

Lots of people, instead of bringing up responses too the speech, decided to bring up the fact she's mentally disabled instead. While this isn't a direct attack, it's suspicious or a misdirect tactic at the least. But a few have directly insulted as well.

Agreed. I don't know if she's brilliant but I have a major problem with people calling Asbergers a mental disorder. Much of the time, it can be disabling, sure, but there is a large spectrum there. A lot of the time it makes a person much more intelligent in other areas. It's just a genetic anomaly. Signs of evolution still happening in the population.
