Well actually, as it turns out, he essentially said that he won't golf at all! I did not know that before starting this thread. I wasn't into US politics during the 2016 campaign.

It was great with Trump as president. The trouble is he went off the rails with the 2020 election result. There was no way he could have reversed the result, and he should backed off. He should have started planning to be re-elected in January 2021 instead of holding the totally counterproductive January 6 rally.

His constant name calling of other Republicans is ridiculous. He needs to tout the great things he did when he was president not name call other Republicans. He needs to grow up. He’s too old to grow up; he’s flawed. His reputation is crap because of the way he has acted. He needs to withdraw for the good of the country. In the words of my generation, Trump needs to stop ego tripping. His time has passed.

That's as close to the truth as you've come in a while. I don't think you will find any Dem on this board, or anywhere else, who does not recognize the ethical issues involved in Hunter playing off his last name. He did many things while in the throes of addiction worth condemnation. But as far as the available information goes that's the end of it.

One of the things getting missed about Weiss's investigation with all the waving of arms by Repubs regarding the plea deal is.......wait for it.....no evidence of Joe's involvement in Hunter's financial payments from abroad. And no crimes committed by Hunter other than those pertaining to tax evasion and gun possession.

So let's be honest about what's happening here. Repubs see Hunter as a way to hurt Joe politically. Consequently, they have concocted a series of allegations against Joe you nor anyone else has supported with facts. If innuendo were proof of guilt Joe would be in very deep trouble, but it isn't. To date, you have nothing.
