They retained their culture? So third generation Japanese living in the United States, who do not speak Japanese, never been to Japan, and were not raised Shinto or Buddhist by their monolingual parents retained this culture that grants them higher IQ?

What is this culture granting them high IQ that no other people have managed to replicate?

I provided studies on the average BLL's from Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea with far higher lead levels than any white run nation and yet these countries + Hong Kong have higher IQ.

 

Language shift would not change the way these people are raised. The cultural characteristics I am talking about such as good study habits would remain the same. Also African immigrants to the United States do better academically than any group including East Asians. These people are more educated than the average African and have cultural characteristics that are better than the average American.

I already addressed the fact that positive stereotypes can lead to higher expectations of a group by adopted parents leading to higher IQ scores.

Did you not understand my point? Just because Northeast Asian countries might have higher rates of environmental toxicity than Western countries doesn't mean the people living in those environments are represented among those being tested. The Northeast Asian countries can still have a superior culture and their average IQ not depressed by environmental toxicity especially if one selects who to test and most of them are not poor.

You have not shown these parents positively stereotyped their Korean children or the effects of positive stereotyping.

So...are you brain dead and do not understand what average means? And are you ignorant and do not know Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea are not geographically large regions?

How is it a superior culture is not depressed by environmental toxicity? Please explain the mechanism of studying long hours has in removing lead, cadmium and mercury from the blood stream. The 'who to test' is a red herring because I am using national IQ of these nations + Hong Kong.

I don't care what the color of your skin is or what religion you are, etc.

Most of them have no business breeding. IMO in this day and age people should apply for a license to breed.

 

In light of Rayznack's banning at Sciforum I have decided to take another break from the board. Posting and arguing on here is distracting from my reading. This thread isn't even about Scientific Racism it is about people detailing their personal experiences that made them racists or egalitarians. I don't want this thread to be derailed any longer. I am severely backed up in my reading. Not only do I seek to finish Nisbett's book I haven't even finished Sussman's book and I just bought two books from Chris Stringer that I plan to read. I also plan to buy two books that Graves recommended to me on evolutionary biology.

So in total I plan to read the following books during my break:

Meanwhile Mongoloids have split from Africans for about 40,000 years.

Indeed Dogs have births earlier, but even when you account for that, it's still quite similar between 4,000 for Dogs, and 40,000 for Humans.

East Asians have the lowest rates of genes for ADHD in the World, it's no wonder why they have a more studious culture.

It seems East Asians just have more Dopamine which helps with focus.

However, people with ADHD are often very creative, despite being impulsive, and lacking focus.

It sure seems like this fits like a glove for cultural differences between Europeans, and East Asians.

Europeans being more creative, but less studious, not to mention Europeans being more impulsive likely lead to colonization.

Indeed, even Americans have been shown to have more ADHD than their European counterparts.

But, also East Asians have genes for higher serotonin, than Europeans, which low serotonin can also cause people to wish to flee, impulsive actions, and even violent thoughts.

This seems to also explain why Europeans are more colonial oriented than East Asians were.

Turns out you can easily explain these cultural differences by their genetics.

Polish Americans scored a 109 IQ in the 1970's, which is slightly higher than Asians.

37.5% of Polish Americans have a bachelors degree or higher, which is slightly lower than Asians.

But, how is this just culture?

Polish have assimilated very heavily into White America.

Most Polish Americans arrived in the U.S.A just before WW1, when Poland was still denied Polish education from it's German, and Russian colonists.

So, since most Polish Americans were in a culture which was denied Polish formal education , when they arrived to the U.S.A.

Polish Americans should if anything be culturally inferior.

But, that's not the case.

But, the thing that could explain why Polish Americans do better academically than the average White American, is that Polish have more advanced shaped brains.

Indeed, Polish have skulls which are both taller, and wider, than their Western European American peers.

Which taller, and wider skulls are more modern, which allow for more advanced frontal brain.
