why do I always have to believe:

that the claim of God is true.
that a man named Jesus Christ is the son of "God."

that not a word is subtracted nor added to a book called "the bible."

    that poverty could be ended.
that china is not a capitalist state.

that mark zuckerberg was the lone founder of facebook.

that there is a black hole.

but, you know I refuse to believe.

jerusalem, a holy land and the rest isn't?

    this is discriminative.

there is no land that is holy.
    all land is the same.

Wouldn't your unbelief of all these things result in you having a system of beliefs?

    BELIEF is a CHOICE.

Nobody can force you to make that CHOICE.

Many would say that life is empty without something to believe in.
But there is an easy way around that.

    BELIEVE IN THYSELF!!!

belief is not a choice. it is
a thought imposed by those who rule and govern.

Do try to not be so negative.
Belief is a choice...whether you like it or not.
Those who govern can only "rule" you if you let them.
    Are you "letting" them?

do you really think you can make your own choice of belief?
you think because you have your own belief it is your choice already.
but look at the result of your daily lives?

whatever you do, and how you do it is dictated by the those who rule and govern.

What gives you that impression? Can you look at any of the (peculiar) list of things listed in the OP, come to a conclusion on them and then choose to believe the exact opposite?

Belief is the term used to describe the conclusions our minds come to on any given statement. It's a combination of the information we have and the wierd and wonderful workings of our brains. We can influence the outcome but we can't actively decide what it's going to be.

YES! I ABSOLUTLY make my own choice of belief.
Is that choice swayed by the information available to me? Of course. One can only envision that with which one has had at least some exposure.

What's wrong with my daily life?
    I wake-up.
I work to provide for my family.
I raise my kids as I see best.
I love my wife and kids enough to do the same thing tomorrow.

People have been living this way since the beginning of civilization.
Its not perfect...but it seems to be as close as we can get.

Are you sure your pros aren't just a thin excuse for dropping out of society?

Indeed, but it's only discriminative against Jerusalem.

    great point

    thanx for the lesson.

Allow me to think on that:

So if you and i could understand nature and existence itself, then we could understand that the whole world could be know in what is real?

    sure;

    be honest with thyself ...............

it makes it so that 'no false witness' becomes a part of life, versus a belief

meaning, if i asked you; did you see the red sea parting, your only answer is NO.

If i asked you; did you see jesus walk on water? Your only answer is NO.

Can you 'create' words? Can you create a story?

Could the bible be a manmade book of stories?

Now you can witness, YES and it be true to you and me and no one can contest an honest witness of such facts

ps....... you can walk on water too, by the way; just freeze it first. Now you know how.

    NO.....

There are far more possibilities of other dieties on this earth, than i could ever have read.

But me sustaining that bible is NOT divine has nothing to do with 'diety'. It means, i know people can mislead.

    you E=lie jah lot

    and we both know it

    since the beginning of civilization,
see there is no change because there has been no choice.
no choice to make your own belief.

am not dropping. this is my choice not to believe in anything
imposed by the vatican and by the government.
but I do pay my taxes religiously.
I obey and follow traffic rules and regulations.
I work and complete my 8 hours work of duty.
    and so much more.

I just do not believe in them.

    polscie.
