Some like to imagine the possibility of earning huge profits. It's not even about becoming wealthy, it's like playing a game of Monopoly.

To learn that there are strategic moves that will destroy you. And to recognize that others don't have to play with you on fair terms.

The only strategy I learned is to buy or trade for all the properties that are a dice roll away from Jail, and you can't make a fair trade with your drunk aunt. Which I guess is exactly what you are saying. :blankstare:

Lol. I'm not defending the game. I'm just pointing out what it's about.

    Why invest?

Because money is to be made.

Take this as an example - Wisconsin LOSES jobs due to ''right to work" law:

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/...ght-to-Work-Major-company-moving-to-Minnesota

Hoffman Construction, a major road building and mining company is abandoning Wisconsin because of the Right to Work legislation just passed.
According to Duluth News Tribune "Hoffman said Monday night that the reason is twofold: he believes the right-to-work law will ultimately cost his company money, and he sees Minnesota’s proposal to increase transportation funding as offering greater business opportunities."
Some companies realize that union work is an advantage to companies. Working together on problems, joint safety committees, agreeing on other items like seniority, vacation, health care can only make a company stronger.
Hooray for Hoffman Construction Company. Maybe more will follow their lead.

Wisconsin's loss is Minnesota's gain with more companies to follow.

Progressive liberals are always giving my money away to other people.

The word "investing" isn't part of the progressive vocabulary.

But cultural marxism has changed the definition of words to further the agenda.

If its female, minority or gay owned, since that's the main reason anyone should invest=) If you read the news, its apparently a problem when a VC doesn't invest in enough affirmative action opportunities.

It's usually difficult for ordinary Americans to find a private business in which to invest. Unless you're a known local business player and are in-tune with the business community, it's unlikely you'll be approached with an opportunity.

Business is the only thing that worth to invest :).
