I thought you did not want me to address you anymore?

Well, that's out the window pal if you are going to address me.

So please make up your pretty little mind.

As for what Ben Bernanke should do?

Buy a gun with one ceremonial bullet and figure out the rest.

    LOLOLOLOLOL,

Yes, America has developed the knack of getting a reserve currency and then inflating that currency whenever they need some cash.

    Oh yeah...that is SO sophisticated.

But eventually, Daddy's credit card will run out..and then look out.

So do you want me to address you or not?

    Please make up your mind.

And the answer is Daddy (in this case) is the American taxpayers of today and tomorrow.

And when America defaults (or inflates the greenback so far that it is will buy a fraction of what it can today) then those taxpayers will be screwed...while the Ben Bernanke's and Barack Obama's and GWB's retire with their multi-billion dollar golden parachutes.

And btw - The DOW has is roughly where it was in 1999, the housing market is still a mess, unemployment is stuck between 8.5 and 9.5%, food stamp usage is at an all time record and the national debt is growing by leaps and bounds.

And akphidelt2007 thinks that America is fine.

    LOLOLOL.

So many Keynesians have not a CLUE about the real world.

Yes we just went through a major recession losing a quarter of our wealth and the country can still eat... what a horrible place we live in!! I much rather have massive depressions where we get in bread lines and die from simple diseases. Your world sounds fun!!

You already did address in this thread, but I forgot about our previous conversations. You are the one if I recall correctly that tried to question my theory saying no one else believes it. Then you asked for any articles or sources. And I provided you a ton and you basically gave up and said everyone who believes something you don't is an idiot.

Yes, you are the worst of the worst. The kind that doesn't even want to learn but will stick to his failed ideologies regardless of logic.

And you think America is 'Fine'.

    Gotcha.

Why don't you ask all the people on food stamps if America is fine?

Why don't you ask all those unemployed if America is fine?

Why not ask all those seniors whose savings are being destroyed by ultra low interest rates and inflation far higher then they can save for if America is fine?

Why don't you ask those that lost their homes over the past 5 years if America is fine?

You are so out of touch with reality on this it is remarkable.

But then, many/most Keynesians (that I know) are as well.

    I did not address you.

I commented about your post in a non-direct way...which is exactly what I said I would do before.

Note to board....akphidelt2007 forgets personal requests.

If you think you could take the way back machine and McCain wins the 2008 election it would be better now you are even more out of touch with reality.

I've noticed a trend of liberals calling in on radio shows and saying that Obama is doing a good job because their personal lives have gotten better. It's true. They'll say, "He's doing a good job. I've done just fine the last 3 years." They see the president's performance through the prism of their small little world and ignore the suffering of their fellow Americans.

Well, the rich are doing great lately.

All those government programs and QE's pouring into crappy banks, failed businesses and the stock market in general are causing record corporate profits.

The rich are getting richer on the backs of the U.S. taxpayer and the debt they and the Fed are running up.

It semi-amazes me that people actually think the government/Fed are making their lives better.

Or should I use the latter's standard line: 'if we were not here, things would be FAR worse. We cannot prove it, of course. So you are just going to have to trust us.'

Americans don't trust them. But they are so scared of the alternative that they are making a leap of faith.

    The government/Fed is the televangelist.

And the American people are the suckers in the audience.

The question is, why would we be better off with out Keynesian policies? Since you can't explain that, I will assume you are just perpetuating your hatred for Govt. I'm sure the country would be much better off with out food stamps, with out unemployment, and letting all the banks fail. That sounds like a recipe for success!! Lol, you guys are crazy

But politics is a zero sum game.... if you spew hate at one party you must accept everything the other party has to offer otherwise your position is insincere.

Why? Because you say so? A lot of people have contempt for both parties. That's nonsence that hatred for one party must be predicated on acceptance of the other. Do you really believe that?

I could not have stated it better myself.

By the top posters logic - there can be no independents or third parties.

Only centrally planned money can solve for the phenomena of a natural rate of unemployment.

Never have dumber words ever been spoken.

You assume that a natural rate of unemployment is a problem.

    It isn't.

Yes, I do. What other simple explanation is there that may be "smarter"?
