Why do righties expect Obama to produce documentation no other Prez has?

There just was a threadPA removedabout Obama refusing to produce his college transcripts. It was closed down before I could pose this very simple question: I am not positive, I will admit, but I am pretty sure that no other president has ever produced his college transcripts at the demand of the opposition. Now, certainly... some president's have had some of their college grades publicly revealed without their knowledge or consent... that is not what I am talking about... but has ANY other president EVER released his college transcripts - or his birth certificate, for that matter - at the behest of his political opponents? I don't recall any such incident ever. And if my recollection is, indeed, correct, why in the WORLD does anyone think that Barack Obama has ANY obligation to unilaterally do what no other president has done before?

 

Because it may show proof that he claimed to be born in kenya.
There is a Senator who lied, to Harvard, and claimed to be an Indian. Liberals do it all the time.

There is an issue about Obama and his transcripts just as there may be a different issue with some other President that only applies to him. Show them and be done with it, he's only adding fuel to the fire by refusing to and it might be throwing some independents off.

Or maybe he does have something in there that he wants nobody to see. I don't care if he does or not since i'm not voting for him but to some people it may be an important issue. The only people happy that he isn't showing them are the ones that are voting for him regardless.

that is incorrect. Bush did not release his grades, they were leaked without his approval. No other president has willingly released his college transcripts, yet you want Obama to do so...why?

 

Because I believe he lied about his place of birth and his college records might prove it one way or the other.

There are so many inconsistencies about obama. It would be better to know who he was before he became who he is today.
At one point in his life he was "the Kenyan born senator". Something he never denied.

what would his college transcripts say about Kenya? Hawaii has already put the birth certificate issue to rest. No other president has ever released his college transcripts. What is it about this black man from Hawaii that makes you feel that the rules need to change for only him?

 

never DENIED it? I take it you have never read "Dreams From My Father". He clearly and unambiguously DENIES that he was born in Kenya in that book, first published in 1995.

So since you 'believe' he lied, even though there is absolutely no evidence for your belief, you think Obama should act differently than every other President and Presidential candidate in our history?

I happen to suspect that Romney is actually an android and if he would just shows us his batteries it might prove it one way or the other.

 

Why would Obama deny something quoted only in an African newspaper that he is likely never to have seen? If an Bolivean newspaper said that Romney was Mexican born, would you expect Romney to notice and respond?

And why would Obama respond, when the newspaper itself admitted its mistake within a week of publication?

So lets review- Obama was known as 'the Kenyan born Senator' in one city in Africa for one week- but known to American voters as the Hawaiian born Harvard students from newspaper articles in the LA Times, the New York Times, the Chicago Sun Times and from his own best selling biography.

2.Register for LSAC's Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) and pay all appropriate fees
3.Submit all undergraduate and graduate transcripts to LSAC
4.Submit two letters of recommendation to LSAC
5.Submit your HLS application, personal statement and resume electronically
6.Pay the $85 application fee
