Oh this should be good. Let's deep dive this one. Why are they irrelevant?

If they are irrelevant, then why even point out that the picture on the right was mostly white?

And yest these poor whites vote Republican overwhelmingly. Republicans help these poor whites by opposing immigration and supporting protective tariffs.

And the ones they help, Republicans call them lazy freeloaders . I'm I right? Then they label them as Democrats. I hear it here all the time.
Hell, just read back a few post and you can see it for yourself. Lol

    Slacks don't do well

Sure they do, and the discrimination is worse against Asians. But that is only if you believe in meritocracy. Blacks don't do well in meritocracies.

Why? Because the only people that believe the bullcrap you're shoveling are the 10% of Americans who are white supremacists.

What have Republicans EVER done to prevent illegal immigration? Trump was the first one who did more than talk about it, although I think his methods were questionable.

The thing I don't understand about GOP voters and their stance on immigration: On one hand, they assume that the economic pie is infinite, i.e. if you are poor you are not poor because the money is unequally divided, you are poor because of your own bad decisions. On the other hand, they assume that the labor pie is finite, i.e. illegal immigrants take jobs (which are limited in number) away from hard working Americans. Now, one of the two can be true, but not both.

My interpretation of this conundrum: The desire for scapegoats. Easy targets are the poor and immigrants, so opposing arguments are used against those two groups of people. It's always easier to blame someone else (in particular a group of "others") for your problems, than to actually show introspection.

Actually I don't. I hear Democrats calling them stupid all the time. But we are drifting off topic. The question is why educated Whites vote Democratic when the Democrats want to eliminate meritocracy in favor of equity.

Oh I absolutely hate trump and what he did to the party. If you believe an adulterous, lying, morally bankrupt man that has embezzled from children's cancer charities represents the Republican Party then I have made a correct decision to actively vote against y’all from here on.

    Thanks for your thoughtful reply.

Some do. A worrying percentage do not.

I support systems where all are treated equally under the law. No affirmative action or racial quotas. The majority of democrats also support this but there are some very loud and growing voices that believe the only way to make up for past racism is more racism.

You are definitely right about Republicans and immigration which is why Trump is as much a revolution in the GOP.

Poor white people see their jobs taken by immigrants today, in real time. All this talk about pies and infinities and introspection does not signify when all the jobs at the chicken processing plant are taken by illegal immigrants.

Why are you defending immigrants against Whites? I don't get it. Or maybe I do. Immigrants are not a threat to your jjob so it is cheap to display your virtue by championing illegal immigrants and despising poor Whites.

There you go using the strawman tactic.
I am critical of yesterday's CONSERVATIVE Democrats as I am of today's CONSERVATIVE Republicans who do NOT believe in the basic American belief of liberty and justice for all, not just some. How about you? Are you critical of today's CONSERVATIVE Republican bigots?

The Democrat party is as racist now as they were 200 years ago.
From slavery to the KKK to their Jim Crow laws, to LBJs comment (we'll have those n*****s voting Democrat for 100 years) to the race baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, to the support of BLM, to 578 Riots killing Americans and burning down businesses, to Larry Elder is the black face of white supremacy.

    Some things never change

Except that educated whites voting Dems realize that Dems DO NOT want to eliminate meritocracy. They just realize that people like my son, for example, being born into an affluent family and going to a public school in the top 10 schools of my state, has better opportunity than a black kid born to a single mom, working two jobs, in a poor inner city neighborhood. Conservatives just want to pretend that such inequities do not exist, and accuse everyone of reverse racism and whitey shaming who wants to talk about these inequities. And, no, it has nothing to do with white guilt, it has more to do with realizing when one is in a privileged position and how much the luck of birth has to do with this position.

Before 1900 Republicans had seated 22 African Americans in Congress. From 1901 to 1971 they seated a whole two more. Yep, two. Since then another 9 (one of those is a double up - Tim Scott has been in both chambers). These numbers only cover voting members.

In that same period Democrats have seated over 125 African Americans in Congress. One of them went on to become Vice President & one President. Over 50 sit in Congress at the moment, compared to a whole three for the GOP.

How is responding to a poster with his own provided information a strawman tactic, or do you not know what a strawman is?

I am critical of all racist no matter where they hide. I could care less what party they belong too. But nobody is ignoring the racist history of the Democrat party from slavery to the KKK to their Jim Crow laws, to LBJs comment (we'll have those n*****s voting Democrat for 100 years) to the race baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, to the support of BLM, to 578 Riots killing Americans and burning down businesses, to Larry Elder is the black face of white supremacy.

thats about his 40th time posting that picture. Don’t give it much thought.
Whoopdee doo! They shoved blacks in the front row for extra effect.
What He doesn’t mention when he posts this pic is that most blacks don’t run as republicans. (Don’t sweat it. Libs hate facts.
A more true calculation would be number of blacks running as republicans vs how many of those get elected.
Republicans would love some diversity but they cannot force them to run. Now democrats spin that into something it is not

OP, you are better off not even trying to understand the mindof a liberal. It might be easier to understand quantum computing.

if a minority wants to run Republican and has good policy plans then I and many other republicans would vote for them in a heartbeat

don’t forget, all they really have is race baiting at this point and honestly, you shouldn’t waste your time trying to understand their voting reasons. They vote how they are TOLD to

I am not defending immigrants against whites. I agree that immigrants compete with Americans for a limited number of jobs. I am one of those immigrants (not illegal, though). When I came from Germany to the US for my first faculty position, I took the job that some American could have had.

Now, if the worker at the chicken processing plant was not white and a Trump voter, but black and poor, the typical Trump voter response would be: If your job is taken by an immigrant, make your own job and wealth. Wealth is not finite. Nobody prevents you from making your own wealth. You have only yourself to blame for your poverty.

Which means if you're black, and you want the black vote, you go where the most black votes are
    You didn't know that?

Yet Trump's golf courses were hiring illegals at the same time he was preaching against it.
Yet Trump's clothing business was buying goods from the Chinese at the same time he was preaching against it.

Trump was the worst person to champion the Republican cause.

If that were indeed the case then they would have a picture full of mostly white and Asians.

As academically speaking...there is no argument for ability here to see a picture with that much of an over representation of black people. Unless they are trying to field a basketball team.

    Lol
