Why does Biden’s polls continue to drop?

In my lifetime I have never seen a presidents polls drop so bad in one term. Here is an interesting article that compares presidents. No one is lower than Biden.

I have my reasons for disliking this trash bag of a president. One big reason is he’s far less worried about inflation and plays it down as an issue while he chooses to give my money away that I could use to college brats with contracts they signed all on their own (Big middle finger to Biden for that). No respect for those who take my money for this purpose either.

Secondly he chose Harris when the guy is inches away from death. Could anyone imagine that moron stepping in as president? She can’t even talk to grade schoolers without looking like an idiot.

third, let’s not even talk about how moronic his Afghanistan retreat went. Talk about tucking tail like a coward and running. Who would just give them all that equipment? Why couldn’t he at the very least took the vehicles out tax dollars were spent on? What in the hell is wrong with him on that?

Let me remind people that this thread is about Biden’s approval ratings and not about him vs Trump. Do not derail this thread.

 

His unwavering support for Israel, at least in the public eye, is killing his chances for reelection, especially among younger voters. As the middle east conflict continues to turn into a wider regional war, I think his numbers will continue to tank, until he finally begins to call Israel out and withhold military aid until they stop slaughtering civilians.

 

This is actually something I like about Biden. But yes the younger generation that’s taking my taxes seems to dislike this.

 

Its getting closer to election time strategies--and Biden has to campaign--whether it be campaign stops, social media ads, TV ads. And that means--he has to speak and communicate with the American people. And no matter how edited a campaign video or his narration on a campaign ad--- or how short of a time his puppeteers give him to get short talking points out before they cut him off, --- he makes a person cringe.

When he communicates, people realize he is senile and not all mentally there. . His puppeteers can't hide it. I think when he speaks, his poll numbers drop with those who aren't zealots. And some zealots---the young Israel haters--probably won't poll well for him anyway as the current administration is still supporting Israel.

IMO when democrats/leftists poll well for Biden's economy and current state of the nation---they are approving the administration that is calling the real shots. Not the commander in chief.

That is my take. Occasionally I see a Biden campaign ad on TV--not showing Biden, but Biden is narrating the ad as you see the photos and pictures--and he's slurring and struggling through it. I cringe every time..they can't seem to edit it enough to make it work.

 

Biden doesn’t listen anyone unless they are on the far left. His policies with energy have hurt a lot of people, and yet he will not change or even show a level moderation or concern.

His open borders policy is even worse. The market has adjusted and lessened the impact of his bad energy policies. With the border, there is no let up. It only gets worse, and he doesn’t care.

I think Biden hates the American people who don’t agree with him. He hates middle class values and he shows destain for middle class people.

You can yell at me call me a bigot all you want. That’s what I think of Biden. He is now the worse president of my lifetime. He has outdistanced Lyndon Johnson, who got tens of thousands of young men from my generation killed and maimed with his stupid Vietnam War, and Richard Nixon who was a crook and a barefaced liar.

Biden is an uncaring crook who is dividing this country with his disgusting rhetoric and rotten policies.

 

It's not up to me as an European to just your president. But be sure, Biden is seen as right wing avctivist in many countries outside the USA. He is unable to install a universal healthcare system, to develop programs for the homeless, there isn't any discussion about the minimum wage and and and. This anti-poor and anti-middleclass politics is unseen in the rest of trhe deveolped world.

You are pointing to his failures as president, not his political philosophy. So far as the homeless goes, that is a state and local issue. A leftist, whom I am sure you greatly admire, Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California, has failed there greatly. It’s hard to deal with the homeless when you have open borders and are allowing millions of homeless illegals to enter the country. The numbers are overwhelming the major cities as well as the small towns in Texas and Arizona. Biden wants that to happen, given his policies.

So far as universal health care is concerned, tell me how you pay for it. You people in Europe have had your national defense subsidized for years by America. You didn’t pay your fair share until Trump pushed the issue. You have a tax burden that is killing the middle class. You have a choice. You can work, save and invest for your old age, or you can beg the government to keep when you are old. I prefer to take care of myself and not beg the government for handouts.

So far as “fundamental workers rights,” you obviously know nothing about American labor. Your rhetoric is completely inaccurate. When I was working, I had paid vacations and paid sick days. I didn’t get six weeks, like you do in Europe, however. I was not aware of any “slave contracts.” Those statements are pure BS.

I pay 6,3% of my gross income, my company does pays a little less. If I loose my job, I get my insureance payed by the government, that is, I pay it with my taxes. Overall I'm paying 40% taxes imcl. health and unemployment insurances. But I don't pay HOAs, ridiciolous high premiums, our schools are safe without a police officer, my children can play outside without getting kidnapped, the streets are clean and well mantained. And I don't have to pay for my education.At the end of the month neither of us has less than the other.

Well, sure I know. More and more well educated US-engineers moving to Europe, esp. Germany and Spain. They like the idea of having rights, safety, and a live-work-balance. And I tell you: They are welcome

After that, you were in office for life. Republican, Bill Roth, did it first. After that a politician could stay in the same office forever. Now Delaware is a one party state. All you need is to be a Democrat.

Wow. Thanks for that post. It's been awhile since I lived in Europe. I had no idea how radically left wing/socialist/communist things had gotten there.

When I lived in Germany I saw the unequal socialist medical care and thanked the stars I was American, I laughed at "Kindergelt" which paid me monthly for having my child with me in Germany even though he was totally American and would never be German.

But the socialism has apparently rocketed out of control.

Your third point is nonsense. He completed what Trump started, efficiently. I can only imagine every other scenario as worse. They always leave equipment there. Hint: you shouldn't have left in the first place.

Biden's popularity is likely to fall when it turns out his decision to back Kyiv (western and central Ukraine)
hasn't gone at all well.

Ukraine has now admitted that 500,000 of it's servicemen have died in the war and this does not reflect
well on the training and weapons they were supplied with, and in turn is another strike against
the wisdom of Joe Biden for thinking he would win against Russia in Ukraine, with no actual boots
on the ground (450-500 contractors, only).

It could be argued that despite the huge losses, that Russia will lose because Ukraine will still
join NATO, but despite the promises, that looks unlikely, unless the key requirement Russia has
made, namely no nuclear capable missiles in Ukraine, is agreed to. And some level of inspection
is permitted, and the 'breakaway republics' will remain in Russia.

 

This is true, there should have been more intervention, maybe a no fly zone at the very least. The problem is he doesn’t have the spine to back it up if he had done that.

He's dying from a 1,000 cuts. He tells us the economy is fine, inflation slowing and low unemployment numbers. But those needing 2 jobs is up. My wages, adjusted for inflation is down, as are all of my savings vehicles. How many wars are we involved with now? Will Ukraine unravel by next November? Sadly, Americans can be fickle. I don't think they'll hold Afghanistan against him. But remember how opposition to nation rape (people penetrating our borders without consent) was "white supremacy"? Well, now that cities are feeling the pain, lotta non-white people noticing this is a disaster. And then identity politics: after 10/7 are you with the Hamastinians or Jews? People could look at a map and see that Russia is right to be more concerned about what goes on

Even more so when the US and NATO plan to place missile launchers in Ukraine and have stated
that Russia is not permitted to inspect the launchers to check if they contain only conventional
