    i didn't convince myself. they do it all the time through the same methods that millions of heterosexuals do.

    Thats not the couple procreating. If I hire a surrogate mother and sperm donor to create a baby, I didnt procreate, THEY did. And if I provide the sperm, my girlfriend and I didnt procreate. The surrogate mother and I procreated.

    but procreation remains irrelevant to who can marry.
