Why I won't be getting any more Covid boosters (personal story)

    I didn't think the ( front- line) medical community is necessarily clueless at all. I think their expertise in curing illness and saving lives puts them under a lot of demand, which then leads to long hours and dealing with a lot of crap that they shouldn't have to deal with. So inevitably, little shortcuts are taken where they can be taken.

    I was suggesting that this might include "not going there" with discussions and the possibilities of belated or long-term vaccine reactions. Because then they get dragged into it all sorts of other conspiratorial crap and quite frankly, rage right in their face. They're not perfect, but by far their behavior is more classy and professional than the average patient.

    Ironically the only time I had covid was traveling into the US. It appeared during myself imposed professional quarantine soon after flying in. I've just arrived in the US again I'm in quarantine and ill again. This time it's not Covid, though :)

    Very well said! Especially the bit about people bowing down to authority rather than questioning it.
