Why is Black Racism accepted and applauded?

I suppose that the fact that slavery occured over 200 years ago doesn't matter huh? Or the fact that it was 5% of white people who owned slaves? Just out of curiousity, 2000 years from now will you still embrace your double standard because of "the past racist history of white people?"

For the record, I don't like black trash or white trash, and I'm not referring to how much money a person has, I'm referring to the "morally bankrupt", which come in ALL colors.

I swear I'm trying REALLY hard to understand where you are coming from...I actually agree with part of your post, yes, there will always be some white people who are racist. And guess what? There will always be some black people who are racist, there will always be some Asian people who are racist, and on and on.

I'll concede the point if you can just answer one question for me: If I'm a young African American male walking down the street and I see a store with a sign in it that says "Now Hiring", and across the street I see a little old lady I could mug instead to get money, do I not have the free will to make the more moral decision because of what happened 200 years ago? Are black people under some sort of control that I'm not aware of that forces them to commit crimes?

And before you consistency check me, YES, white people who rob/rape and murder deserve to have the book thrown at them as well.

I have a sneaking suspicion that many of you have never been in a trailer park or the ghetto...I've spent plenty of time in both, and I can reassure you that while there are quality moral people to be found there, they are like drops of water in the dessert.

Who cares? Guilt is only a burden if one chooses to permit it to be a burden. Love everyone, but don't bear the burden of guilt. Stop caring about guilt. Then guilt isn't a problem.

 

I don't approve of racism of any color, but discussions about this sort of topic always devolve into bickering over whose race stands on the moral high ground. Notice how the racists themselves, white and black alike, are the quickest to project their bigotry on whatever race they're hating on. It's like they think that their own bigotry should get a pass because the opposition is, like, totally so much worse!

No one in their right mind denies humans across the world can be ignorant, prejudiced, or downright xenophobic. This is a recurring fact of human history on all continents, even without so-called racial distinctions between the belligerent factions. When the Egyptians and Nubians were duking it out over and over again along the ancient Nile, you had Celtic and Germanic tribesmen raiding neighboring clans over in northern Europe, and then there were all the wars between the Greek city-states, in Mesopotamia, and so on. Later on, empires like China, Mali, the Aztecs, and so on would never have expanded so much if they hadn't run over enemies who typically resembled themselves in the "racial" sense. Hell, the Japanese are well-known for being relatively homogenous as far as nationalities go, and yet even they have a rich and storied history of subdividing into smaller factions and then killing each other (and thus began the ninjas and samurai). Point is, it shouldn't be a shocker that humanity can be violently ethnocentric and factional regardless of race.

That said, while this fact obviously applies to black people too, it doesn't change that in the specific context of the US and most other Western nations, white people are by and large the socioeconomically dominant group. Therefore, white people have always been more likely to end up in Western society's most powerful positions than blacks or any other minority*, so our peculiar brand of (*)(*)(*)(*) is more likely to do damage on a greater scale. Anyone can be racist on an ideological level, but it's even scarier when racism ends up in a position where it can be amplified far and wide.

If the ancient Egyptians or Malians had invaded Europe, reducing the white natives to servitude and then alienating them so that we became a disproportionately underclass group, then you'd have a situation where black racism really would be more worrisome than white racism instead.

* Some might bring up Obama as a counterpoint, but he's only a single man in a big complicated government with an inbuilt system of checks and balances, and he's noticeably half-white anyway.

 

So we should definitely be worried about Semitic racism.

A lot of liberals are Marxists and they hate capitalism. One of their standard tricks is to turn the disenfrachised agaisnt the people who are the backbone of capitalism in order to tear it apart.

The idea of "White Guilt" Still gets me every time. People who were yet to be a twinkle in their parents or grandparents eyes are feeling guilt over something that did not happen in their life time. This would be akin to the Egyptians feeling guilt over what happened to the jews they enslaved, or the Germans still feeling guilt over a dictators actions.

I believe every race has its racists, every religion has its bigots and every person has hate. That should be reflected on the individual and not on the race or group of people he is associated with. There is no doubt America has had a struggle with race issues, To be drawing up that again seems to be counter productive. If the country is to improve, prosper and grow power again the people need to look at what the media is telling them and what they experience on the day to day. I see protests that say "All Police are racists" yet they rely on the police to keep their protest safe. If someone gets attacked they point at the police not protecting them. We are letting Hate over run compassion and love. That is the real crime.

Blacks in America have the most wealth, influence, celebrity, opportunity, and prosperity than anywhere else on earth.
America is full of many races but racism is seldom touted outside of blacks and whites. It's taken with a grain of salt today because it has been so frivolously used. Opportunity abounds for everyone, people cannot be forced to utilize it.

 

Because Whites have had more economic and political power than Blacks in the USA. Take the word N*****. There is no comparable word a Black can say to a White that hurts as much. Why?

 

That is true, Blacks in America have a high standard of living. But------ Blacks generally don't compare themselves with Black people in other countries. They compare themselves with people in the USA. I'm sure you don't compare yourself with Whites living in Europe; you compare yourself with Whites living in America. Right?

There are more blacks in America locked up than anywhere else. There are more blacks in America below the poverty line than anywhere else. See how that works?

 

I don't compare myself. Plenty of people have more, less, are smarter, dumber, are prettier, fatter, stronger, weaker, etc. Women in America were subjugated once today they have the same rights as all citizens do. I am very thankful I am a woman in this country where opportunity abounds.
People hollaring about sexism are not taken seriously either. The feminists and racists media portrays as common just aren't.
Blacks, women, and homosexuals should be grateful for their liberty and opportunity.

There is no other country on earth that has as many wealthy, powerful, influential, and famous blacks and women.
Blacks are completely accepted in the powerful, wealthy, and influential roles. As are women. The opportunity is there, examples of success are there. Whether an individual takes advantage of it is up to them.

Those more capable of harm or more likely to be harmed often receive additional scrutiny. Those in the majority of a society are generally considered less likely to be harmed by unfair prejudices which may appear in that society. It's easier for small groups to loose access or become isolated because of it than the majority.

Most whites are unaffected by what problems blacks in America have. We can't fix them. Money has been thrown at black schools, black communities, public assistance programs and it hasn't worked.
Whites just move away from blacks. Successful blacks live in white neighborhoods.
