I am genuinely curious why the majority of people at PF who have argued tooth and nail that health insurance was uniquely a personal responsibilty and that anyone who didn't have it, well that was their own problem. And that there was no way they should have to pay for someone elses poor planning. Some people even went so far as to proclaim that they did not have health insurance for themselves because they chose instead to put money aside in case of an emergency. And once again, why should they have to pay for someone else's lack of organization.
At the beginning of the epidemic, many of these same people boasted about how they were fully prepared for this epidemic and screw the beta sheeple who didn't take care of themeselves. some even boasted that they could probably make a good buck selling some stuff.

But now these same people are yelling that the dems aren't fast enough at redistributing
    2 000 000 000 dollars of tax payers money?

I really don't get it. Please help me out in understanding

Health insurance is not a “right”.

The $2.5 trillion bill is an attempt to avoid a 1930’s depression.

It's a pandemic. It's killing the economy, medical infrastructure, and people. It's not business as usual. It's a situation where aiding businesses, hospitals, and individuals makes sense.

Bernie's got to be grinning from ear to ear at how many formerly right-leaning folks are now sounding like Democrats.

Trump seems to approve. I take it that he doesn't have your vote or support.

Criticizing Dems for using this disease to fulfill their Christmas list is appropriate. Those on the right oppose paying for the irresponsibility of others, but seem to be willing to make exceptions in times of crisis.
