Why Marijuana Should Not Be Decriminalized Right Now

Yeah- whenever I hear about Pot 'addicts' I put that in the same league as "gambling addicts', sex addicts- and other compulsive destructive behaviors.

Yes these are all negative things. But not comparable to the addiction that is alcoholism and far easier to change than the physical addiction of cigarette smoking.

Bottom line is Prohibition failed with alcohol and has failed with Marijuana.

It harms society more than legalization would.
