I see post after post by Zionists and their supporters going on about "oh, the Palestinians hate Israel" "oh, the Lebanese hate Israel", "oh, the Iranians hate Israel", "oh, Egypt hates Israel", etc. They complaints about this and often use these statements when trying to excuse "Israel" from some of atrocities it commits. But, with all this talk about "hating Israel", do they ever ask themselves... Why? Why there is this hate for Zionism and "Israel" among those groups of people. Why this hatred has pushed people to such an extreme they used their bodies as bombs to attack "Israel" at one point in time. Does anybody ever ask, what drives the hatred towards "Israel". Why since 1948 anti-Israel sentiment in the region has been so widespread and popular. My question is simple, why should Palestinians, Lebanese, Egyptians, Iranians, etc love the modern state of "Israel"? Why should I love "Israel"?
They are boxed in...they have to be tough to survive. Personally I detest being "Jewed-down" and I can't stomach the way most of the Jewish women from up north talk, or rather whine, but Jews in Israel deserve to live in peace.
Put yourself in their shoes, what would you have done? Trying to build a home in a hostile environment, with barbarians at the gates that hate the guts out of you for being you. I'd be rough too.
You arabs/muslims fought tooth and nail to prevent Israel from being created and you lost, you fought several wars to wipe Israel off the map and you lost. Of course you hate Israel, you are brainwashed from birth in your schools, mosques, families to hate Israel, you remember every imaginary and some real attrocities Israel may have committed, while "forgetting", whitewashing, excusing and justifying 10 times the number of atrocities your side has committed against Israel...never mind the genocide that would have taken place if god forbid you had come out victorious in one of those wars. Because Israel being a prosperous, liberal democracy is a 1000 better, more tolerant, law-abiding country than any one of your Islamic failed sh*tholes will ever be...But no one asks you to love Israel, just leave it alone, you (not just Israel) are going to be better off for that, perhaps you'll be able to concentrate on fixing your dirt-poor theocracies and dictatorships, educating and feeding the brainwashed, perpetually angry, fundamentalist and intolerant Arab street.
Borat.. Borat.. Borat. Let me see into your soul. So much fear.. Ohh my God.. Enough looking in your soul.
Hate Israel till your heart is content. But for me, no matter what I may think of a Country, I separate the people from the policies. For example, I am an American living in Canada and was shocked by the amount of animosity towards Americans here. Many Canadians seem to believe that all 300 million+ Americans universally support the Government and agree 100% with all its policies. This is so far from the truth. Americans are very diverse in their views and support of and/or dissent of the U.S. Government... and to hate all Americans because one does not like Obama's or Bush's policies is just ludicrous! For me, I can say I hate the leadership of Iran, but I have nothing but respect for the people of Iran as a whole. I am wise enough to understand that Iranians are not a bunch of lemmings blindly following the will of the Government. I understand that Iranians, like Americans, have many differing views on their Country. Hate the policy and not the people I say.
She mentioned nothing about hating Israel and frankly, I don't recall any post where she has said that she hated Jews, Israelis and/or the state of Israel. She asked why should she love Israel.
Why should I love Iran? Why should I love Lebenon. Why should I love the Palestinian Territories? All silly questions eh? Heck I support Israel...but I wouldn't say I love Israel. Its just not the appropriate word. Now, I respect Israel and its society. I don't respect Palestinian Territories or its society. I don't respect Iran or its society. And I don't respect people who are passionate that totaltarian thugs should prevail against free societies.
The obvious is that you portrayed OJled as someone who hated Israel by this statement. "Hate Israel till your heart is content" Post 8. I am sure that OJLed can defend herself- I just don't like people who lie about what other people say.
And OJLed still has not denied it. If I am wrong I will admit it and apologize if I have offended OJLed. And where you see a lie, I see an assumption waiting to be proven or dis-proven.
