Until you do so - you have not proven your claim.

Here is one. Can you accept some facts about the very first tool of science. The human mind?

 

Science does nothing but humans do. What exactly is there to this statement that is so profound? Let me explain simply so you can understand. Of course humans do science. Science is a creation of the human mind which purports to use the faculties of the human mind to understand our world and all that it comprises including the universe itself. I cannot remember your post about global warming. I was watching a clip of Carl Sagan from the late 80s where he was talking with Ted Turner. Even at that time, it was obvious to scientists that we were affecting the climate. Carl mentioned it several times in his discussion. Now we have 20 or 30 years of data, countless scientists have looked at the issue and they have a consensus that supports what Carl Sagan knew was true even in the late 80s. If you want to refute them, do so. But do it at a forum of climate scientists, defend your research and change the world. If you agree with the consensus, then disregard my advice. As for my use of pejoratives, those words are common to almost every language on earth for a good reason. I use them liberally.

 

Humans do science. Science does not do anything.

I've never gotten an answer to my questions about global warming from an alarmist but this is the first time someone forgot. That's original. Here are the questions again:

What is the climate sensitivity to CO2 ??

What are the benefits of global warming and at what temperature increase above the temperature in Y2K will the costs equal the benefits ??

I actually do things, not only read, but church controls publishing and the presence of books. If that is not true find me a copy of the ORIGINAL "Hundredth Monkey", published in 1962 by 23 Japanese biologists.
I may have read the only copy left in 1992. I returned to that place in 2000 realizing what I'd read. The book was gone. I've met one person in 27 years that knows of the original.

You know, I'm right there with you, always been mostly right wing, but science always overrode anything political for me. I think you are right, however, I think liberals manifest the same thing. It is the same reason people are anti-vaccine or anti-gmo, or go to psychics, or believe in crystals or chakras or any number of things lefties do. They believe they are doing something to control the uncontrollable. The right tends to use the bible, but the left uses good vibes or something along those lines. It just so happens that the version on the right leads to being anti-abortion and climate change denialism, which just happen to be the far more dangerous beliefs.
