There's tons of evidence, including the very subject of this thread. Why do you care if people in Alabama decide that AGW is a bunch of nonsense? Why bother calling them "science deniers"?

Just do what you think is correct, and stop bothering those of us who don't care about AGW. This isn't a possibility for you, and we all know this, so you have to get on your soap box and demand that everybody get on board, or you're gonna call people names.

We don't care if you call us science deniers. It's all BS, and we know this. But you can't stop, and you can't explain why you care without giving away your ultimate agenda. You want Billy Bob to unhook his trailer from the grid and drive a prius (if he can't ride a bicycle) because that's just where your values are. Billy Bob lives many states away from you, I'm guessing, and you just can't respect him for his decision to drive his F 150 and say to hell with global warming.

You just can't do it, and that's the evidence. You simply can't keep your chicken little fantasies to yourself, but you have to complain and call people names and do anything at all, including outright lying about how the scientific method actually works in order to achieve your ultimate goal.

Yes but logical fallacies are easier and requires no thought.

It's politics and the urge some folks have to control others. Thank goodness for our system that guarantees the rights of each of us and places limits on the government's ability to micro-manage our lives.

    Two problems with the micro-managers...
    1) We love our freedom and don't tend to tolerate the hectoring.
    2) They have repeatedly shown that they are no damn good at managing their own lives, much less ours.

So, we will redirect them away from managing our lives, and back to what they should be focused on anyway, managing their own!

So you're saying that there are people that reject or oppose a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe?

Remember when, back in 2008, the GOP candidates during one particular debate were asked by, show of hands, who "believed in evolution"?

Evolution, stem cell research, abortion, and global warming are just four areas where GOPers wish to act like know-it-all in the face of science.

Uh.....this is just your opinion. I see no evidence

If you want to study and learn, you will. You believe want you want to believe, and by golly, that's your right!

You too! I refer you to the NASA AGW pages. Lots there to study!

Have they posted the results of their experiments?

Lots of studies there with experimental results!

So they conducted experiments where the earth's temperature changed based upon their hypothesis?

No of course not. No need to do that if you understand science

No need to demonstrate one's hypothesis through experimentation and actual data?

Oh of course that is done. I thought you meant they needed to change the temp of the planet with their experiment. That is just silly

Yes, that's what I meant. If they don't change the temperature of the planet with their experiment, then how do we know that their experiment is accurate?

Based on models. Like much of science

Hm, not based upon experiment and observation? I thought that science was based upon experiment and observation.

But if their experiments don't change the temperature of the planet, then how do we know that their experiment is predictive?

Based on models. Like we did for the ozone hole.

So not based on experimentation and observation. So not scientific.

No, it is not silly. That is the predictive part of the scientific method.

Do you even understand how science works? I have serious doubts.

Sure it is. But I agree with you. Lets take all the recommendations we have to reduce greenhouse gases and put them in place for 20 years. If they don't show evidence I will happily concede!
