What do you guys think about American and UN intervention in the Libyan Civil War? Personally I think we shouldn't have gotten involved at all, it isn't our fight. But since those bombs were already created, might as well use them for good anyway instead of letting them get old and having them scrapped, right? Anyway, do you guys think this will be another long conflict? Possibly even with US troops on Libyan soil, and not just "advisers"? That's how Vietnam started, with us sending military "advisers" to help South Vietnam. Do you think this will turn into another Iraq/Afghanistan/Vietnam?
Probably. There's more wars to come in the middle east. Stay tuned folks! A massive middle east war is approaching. Arabs vs. Americans.
Regarding the highlighted section above....we have boots on the ground now (not just advisors!). My son is in the service (that's as much as i'll say about him) and he told me we have MANY soldiers fighting - what we're being told is a bunch of crap. But, it didn't surprise me, just another lie we've been told and many believe it.....
I just don't understand America's foreign policy (tha is if they have one) They invade Iraq because it had apparent WMDs (which they didn't) but not North Korea who do, they Invade Libya because of Human Rights abuses, but not Syria or Iran or Bahrain! There are many countries that commit human rights abuses and America needs to stop trying to police the world they waste billions of dollars, waste thousands of lives and at the end of the day they get no thanks nothing in the end another dictator takes over and spends his life rubbishing the US
