Will the Georgia Poll workers case disuade MAGAs from falsely accusing ordinary people of crimes?

They asked for $48 million. A jury UNANIMOUSLY awarded $148 million. The MAGA lies were that damaging.

These were two ordinary citizens that were targeted by MAGA conspiracy theories. It destroyed their lives. The message the jury sent should be clear: don't lie! Not when those lies destroy the life of real people.

But will MAGAs learn anything from this? Doesn't look like it. Seeing how Giuliani, even AFTER it was established in Court that the election denialist conspiracy was a lie, Rudy went on and repeated it. This surely prompted an even bigger award in punitive damages.
