Yeah, when Trump was elected, everything magically became his fault and no one is responsible for their own choices. Oh wait...that is a liberal trait that predates our President.

    Orange man bad...
remember the economy is great because of O? O set race relations back 50 years in a scant 8 years. Trump inherited that too.

Plenty of left leaning independent online media outlets out there.

You just admitted to living in a bubble.

The longer he's in office the more damage he does. I don't know where we'd be in 2020 if we waited.

I'm betting Whittaker's job won't last as long as Scaramooch's (?) job did.

I don't think that Trump is going anywhere. He never admits wrongdoing and doubles down rather than backing off. He will simply
pardon his offspring probably before any trial.

So shoot me, I try to surround myself with info that is verified and credible rather than hysterical ranting on either side. I do enough of that myself

I think that Trump is way beyond the Clinton level, although both levels should result in resignation.

I honestly don't know if Trump is capable of thinking in terms of alternatives. I think he is a short term combative thinker that thinks he can vanquish any foe. If he were capable of longer term thinking, he should be considering the following:

    - The Mueller investigation will not go away and nobody knows (except Trump) what it might contain.
    - If things get hot and the House takes up public hearings, where will that go?
    - Options may be resignation with a Pence pardon or impeachment hoping the Senate will back him
    - If he quits, he loses his pardoning power what about the kids
    - I the Senate convicts it could mean jail time
    - Everything might just fade away

Trump is not a happy camper.

Surely this is the end for Trump.

Someone should compile all the "end for Trump" LARP threads posted by LW to this forum since he announced for POTUS. There would be dozens if not over a hundred such threads. Would be a hoot to read.

And if that were the case, this would have been over a year ago :)

LOL, indeed we need a new thread because thousands of "he won't run", "he won't last till the first primary", "he won't get the nomination", "he won't win", "he won't be inaugurated", "he will be impeached in the first half a year", "he won't accomplish anything" threads have clearly taught the clownish creators of these threads absolutely nothing. :D

"almost certainly will have incontrovertible evidence of much wrongdoing"

I started laughing and stopped reading right there. Trolling bait threads bore me.

No. He has gone all in. Once there was speculation he may quit to keep his criminal past from being laid bare, but now the investigation has too much momentum. Trump knows he needs the power of his office to keep family members out of jail, and probably also to keep himself out of jail.

Absolutely not Trump will never quit. He didn't become as successful as he is by quitting.

Your opinion that Mueller's findings will be swept under the rug implies that YOU believe there is something to hide, yet in your posting history you have continued to support him. . . . Should we tolerate lack of integrity and corruption in an American President???

Your argument seems to be that since you favor his methods and think that they will yield favorable results, "the end justifies the means". . . . But the question is, WHO will be the ultimate beneficiaries of those favorable results???

While he has been criticized for it, Trump has become very wealthy by knowing how to "artfully" go bankrupt, repeatedly doing it in a way that really just gives the management over to someone else and preserves most of the original equity. This does not indicate a man who is against quitting but one who wisely knows when he is in over his head, and I think that is clearly the case here.

Faith is such an admirable virtue. It is such a shame to see it so misplaced.
