Up to this point the gop has insisted on a vote for impeachment. Trump has refused to respond to subpoena until there is such a vote

so now that vote will be coming. Will trump now respond to sobpoenas?

No. He's going to drop that angle and stick with the absolute Executive immunity angle instead, still avoiding subpoenas and commanding others to do so.

I don't know if he will or not. I don't think he should. The dems are illegitimate clowns. How many are in office by election fraud? How many are there by of immigration fraud because she married her brother? (At least one I can think of)

No due process for the defense, no equal minority rights, no full transparency (as opposed to Schitt controlled partial one) = no legitimacy = no cooperation with unconstitutional Stalinist witchhunt.

Partisan codification of Star chamber proceedings rejected by bipartisan minority as unamerican sham that it is will not be dignified.

I must have missed in the constitution where Article II, Section 4 or any other section requires traitors republicans to be valid.
    Can you point it out?

Pretty sad when the best defense is that trumps obstruction will work

The house doesn’t have to enforce anything, they just vote.

Obstruction alone is enough justification enough to impeach.

The best defense would be an open, fair, fully transparent inquiry observing due process and full minority rights, which the dems won't allow.

Given the Dems' adherence to secret medieval Star Chamber proceedings with the accused being denied any opportunity to make his case at all, not dignifying the sham and not cooperating with it is the second best defense.

    Get over it. Lol

Dude, at this point of time we really couldn't care less what bogus excuse (they're changing hourly anyway) the deranged dems in the House will concoct to impeach. We are frankly bored by their spineless shenanigans and tired of waiting lol

Trump is about Trump and absolute power, not about the Constitution or the law. He places himself above both. Of course he will not comply.

Thereby making the entire impeachment process useless and a waste of time. Congress will have to establish some rules making impeachment a serious response to a proven crime rather than a partisan political process 'full of sound and fury but signifying nothing'. Otherwise the political destruction of Congressional credibility will continue indefinitely.

If he doesn't respond positively then add it as another reason for impeachment.

Oh so we suddenly disagree with the constitution?

I disagree with you though; obstruction, profiting from the office, corruption, lying to the American people constantly, trolling over half the country because it’s funny, bribery, witness intimidation — all are and should be impeachable offenses. If this was a democrat in office the republicans would agree.
