Not to be a party pooper, but many of the complications that develop from Covid are from immune reaction to the disease.

Dennis, why don't you try one jab? The first jab usually has minimal side effects. This might give you confidence to go for 2

As an aside, last year I had my first (AND LAST) "stress test", the moment they injected me I THOUGHT IT WAS MY LAST DAY ON THIS EARTH, GASPING FOR AIR...AND MY BREATHING HAS NOT BEEN RIGHT SINCE!!! So take your rushed, all protocols cast aside, EXPERIMENTAL NON-VACCINE AND SHOVE IT WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE SIDEWAYS!!!

    Sorry to hear.

Are you saying that you had an anaphylactic reaction to the Covid jab? Was this formally diagnosed?

Now Pfizer is suggesting yearly shots. Wonder if they will ever be off EUA.

NOPE, it was the standard, long approved drug used in cardiac stress tests...ALL drugs have possible side effects...and I trust the good doctor got all the info he'll EVER need from that test...NEVER AGAIN! After 18 years working patient care in two hospitals I for damn sure don't worship at the altar of "medical infallibility", so for me it's no more complicated than this; MY BODY, SOLELY MY CHOICE ....anyone's got a problem with it they can PIZZ OFF!!!

Although the test is generally safe, there is a small risk of acute myocardial infarction (~1:5000 tests) and death (~1:10 000 tests). Patients need to consent to this risk.

    Glad you weren't in that 1 in 10000 :)

It sounds like you're saying you're in the risk category for issues with the vaccine. Sounds fair enough and obviously make sure you get a letter from your doctor in case you wish to travel or anything like that.

Frankly, I'm still firmly on the fence regarding regarding the Covid vaccines, but I'm no "anti-vaxer", shortly I'll be getting my annual "old folks strength" flu shot, so there you go......

Probably not. Since the two I got weren't magic, I have no faith that a third one will be. Now that a few people in my family have had COVID and survived relatively unscathed, I know my gene pool isn't one of those extreme reaction cases. I have adopted a fatalist attitude.

I got vaccinated for the same reason I got vaccinated for Shingles, the Flu, Measles and Small Pox.

Science has advanced to the point that if the vaccines hurt me, my children can sue the makers of the vaccines and end up super rich.
I have nothing to lose. Trump is trusted by me.

What pisses me off is Biden is losing more to the virus than Trump lost per day. Biden is the record holder now.

You cannot sue Pharma for these experimental treatments under EUA. They were given immunity.

I got the Pfizer in April when I was allowed to.
I had chatted ahead of time with my doctors. I had chatted with my Nurse Daughter. I checked out the scare stories.
But when it came time to jump into the pool I took the chance and jumped in. The media is lying saying we republicans reject the vaccine.

    I did not know that.

At my age of 83, I do not see this Trump vaccine as killing me.
Make no mistake, though Pharma has invented them, the legal hurdles would still prevent any of us getting the shot but for the warp speed put into place due to Trump. I am sure he consulted with his experts on this.

A vaccine is not a treatment. It is a head start in getting the immune system to produce antibodies. Covid vaccines are not experimental. They have gone through clinical trials. The experiments have concluded.

It’s a treatment and not a true vaccine. It’s biotech.

    Oh, absolutely.

Most likely, the booster will mean I am good for a number of years to come.

This was spoken of at the very beginning as the vaccines were being approved and distributed.

We can consider ourselves lucky that many of us will have the option to get a booster when the time frame is appropriate.

Don't bet on your children "cashing in" on your demise....Compensation for victims of Covid vaccine injuries is limited (cnbc.com)

Extreme shortness of breath upon the least exertion, which I did not have PRIOR to taking the drug used for stress tests, people need to be aware that what's done CANNOT be undone when it comes to adverse drug reactions.
