Wind-energy industry lost factory jobs despite stimulushttp://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/energy/2010-01-26-wind-power-jobs_N.htm

Money-losing wind power division to be restructured

    Planned wind farm abandoned

With the country having $14,025,341,369,933.87 in debt, is it really the time to lose even more money on wind projects? Just build the dang Nuclear Power Plants and be done with it. They work day and night regardless whether the wind is blowing or not. With wind and solar power the success or failure depends heavily on geographical locations. Most folks don't want the noise and danger presented by the wind turbines close to their homes and the loony left tries to stop both every chance they get.. I live within driving distance from the Palm Springs Wind Farm. I can tell you first hand, they are LOUD when they are producing. If they parked that thing anywhere near my house, I'd be fighting to shut it down just due to the noise.

So let's build nuke plants! Oh wait...can't do that either. Dirty Harry Dumbo Reid and his buddy President Bozo just shut down Yucca Mountains. We don't have anywhere to put the waste.

So what does that leave us in the weay of "Green" alternatives? Can't use Solar...apparently the Desert Turtles would face extinction.

Uncle Ferd says string a bunch of `em together across the country an' mebbe we can regulate the weather...

    Wind farms affect local weather
29 April 2012 : Wind turbines can affect local weather, the study confirms - but not further afield

How odd that the nuclear power plants by me are NOT producing ANY power, and will NOT in the foreseeable future!

I guess those nuclear winds stop blowing too!

:omg: Oh, yeah those SUN SPILLS from solar farms and rooftop installations will kill MILLIONS of PEOPLE!

And every time I go past the Palm Springs Wind Farm, I feel terrible for ALL the people living in the houses underneath those terrible noisy turbines blades that spew sound pollution HUNDREDS OF FEET into the AIR!!

Its a good thing all the houses and people living on the bare desert sand underneath the Palm Springs Wind Farm are TOTALLY INVISIBLE, or my eyes would tear up as I drive by seeing their sad plight!

Hopefully, the Loony Left can learn to love MANLY power generation! First you level mountains and forests to get coal, and then you burn it to get THIS!

Lib tree huggers believe that sitting in the dark wrapped in a blanket for warmth is good for the soul.

If we had a soul which most of them don't believe in anyway.

We could convert a now closed coal powered electric plant, call it hell, and burn their souls as eternal fuel. This would solve a bunch of problems.

The truth that prompted my remark is that irrational libs do seem to reject every practical method of generating electricity for various reasons and only embrace wild ideas that cost too much and don't work very well anyway.

They're insanely in love with the polar bear while resenting the presence of humans on the planet.

How did we become cursed with such people?
