I'm getting where this window on Win8 isn't so strange but I still revert to Classic 7 right away. It appears MS is aiming at the China market so I don't know how much if affects American users. I've had Win10 since the day it automatically upgraded. Very satisfied with it. I've upgraded several other programs to be compatible with Win10 and am most pleased with their performance.
It won't let me d/l Win7 updates w/o d/l'ing Win 10... ... at this point I'm happy w/Win7 and not interested in Win10... ... How can I d/l Win7 updates w/o going through the Win10 upgrade?
Try going to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/support#1TC=windows-10 or http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-desktop?auth=1 I really don't know what's holding you back from the upgrade. I have Win10 and it has given me absolutely no problems whatsoever.
