Winter comes to the UK.... and it all goes wrong....again!

    Did you notice the snow over the weekend... it was forecast since Wednesday last week... so why is it that the whole country grinds to a halt! It took 7 hours for me to drive from Norwich to Kent which is usually 2 hours... its 140 miles on motorways so you would think they were prepared...but sadly no...again!

    Why is it that as soon as the white stuff starts flying airports close, trains freeze, roads become car parks and people become idiots..!!

    It was forecast for Scotland down to the midlands, but not further south. It isn't an exact science. I had it all day on Monday and you can't get much further south in the UK than on the channel coast? :mrgreen:
