Stop justifying it would be a good start.

Can't force me to. Sorry if me having a small amount of sympathy for the woman bothers you. We are ALL human, and all have at least some worth.

    Now what?

So you finally admit to justifying it.. That only took two days... sigh.

Sympathy for a woman would assaulted someone over a birthday hat?

So she shows her "worth" by assault?

Talk about being all over the place.

I am got assaulted over a hat and you focus on me and being "bothered" by it?

    Crazy ****.

    Lock her up.

Though I appreciate the irony here of Trump supporters decrying a punch when their conman hero publicly advocated punching people over political disagreements.

Disrupting a political rally is far more then simply having a different political opinion.. And no even then violence is not ok.

Yeah, crazy huh? Sympathy and Justification are the same thing.

    No, wait, they are not.

And sorry, the world doesn't work in absolute.

Should the woman be in jail, obviously.

Am I going to hate her with the fire of a thousand suns because she hit a man? Nope.

And you can't get rid of me. You can call me all the nasty names you want. You can think of me as a monster.

I am a mirror. As you treat me, I will treat you.

Meanwhile Trump publicly mourned the fact we were no longer able to punch people over political disagreements and publicly encourages his followers to physically attack protestors. I agree that violence is not okay in those situations, I just wish the conman in the Oval Office and his cult of personality understood that.

I have a feeling that the Perp might cop a plea to Simple Assault and get Probation and have to complete anger management classes.

I am more concerned about the victim.

Clearly these are life-threatening traumatic injuries, and he will have a long road to full recovery.

I wish him all the best. Godspeed.:salute:

    But Trump!

What I find interesting is how you whitewashed the behavior of people who were doing exactly what Hitler's sturmabteilung used to do - disrupt other people's political rallies. That's not a mere "political disagreement", and contrary to being the lawful exercise of one's First Amendment rights, it constitutes a deliberate and premeditated violation of other people's civil rights.

I agree with you that it's wrong to punch them - it's far better to let the authorities deal with people who refuse to respect other people's constitutional rights - but let's be honest about what was going on there, too.

Yeah. Idiots often do laugh at smart people, but that doesn't reflect poorly on smart people.

No justifying it is justifying it.
Why do you think i "hate" her.. can you think outside of agree with or hate? Talk about absolutes eh?
Why do you think people want to get rid of you? What nasty names have i called you? Dear god you need to speak to someone if you think anyone here called you a "monster"

Your last sentence is damn funny.. You have done nothing but insult people here by claiming they are have no morals or feelings. You just implied i live on hate... You just implied disagreeing with you equals "nasty names"

All over a woman losing her mind over a hat..

    A Hat!

But hypocrisy. Not sure what you can't comprehend about that.

Waving a sign at a political rally doesn't make you a ****ing Nazi. I encourage you to treat Nazis with some level of acceptance that they were more serious than that, but I won't hold my breath. BTW, Trump hates free speech. Not that I expect that hypocrisy to sink in.

We had people punched for holding signs and your God Emperor publicly mourning the fact that we could no longer settle political disagreements with violence. Don't lecture me about "being honest" if you can't rise to the occasion.

People on both sides have been guilty of assault. The difference is that Trump has supported/praised assault.

You are speaking of a one time thing at a political rally where people were protesting and trying to disrupt a rally and yes it was wrong..

On the other side you have Maxine Waters telling her followers to harass people and you have Keith Ellison number #2 in the DNC supporting Anti-fa literature..

Sorry your attempts to make this equal is laughable.

Trump has engaged in frivolous lawsuits and had his lawyers argue that it should be illegal to use free speech to criticize his business decisions, even saying it should be illegal to call his building plans ugly. No, it isn't equal, but not in the way you think. And funny how you think that supporting literature is anti free speech.

Trump's hatred of free speech is NOT a one-time thing.

Back page LOCAL stories that don't even deserve "National Attention".

But, RW Twitter spams them to feed the RW Mock Outrage Machine.

To the overwhelming majority of people, knocking a hat off of someone's head isn't even newsworthy.

But, to the Pro-Trump Mock Outrage Machine it is worthy of 9/11-style coverage.:bored:

    Go figure.:salute:

You want to go from discussing violence to ^^^^ try to with someone else..

The book in question justifies violence against your political rivals and of course you try to make it about "free speech"

Run along your games are obvious.

Trump has justified violence and you are willing to let that go. If your claims are true, I condemn that later as well. Run along, your hypocrisy is obvious.

I think it is a very "worthy" duscussion.

Why the Pro-Trump RW pushes these insignificant LOCAL stories to feed Mock Outrage.

I find that a very worthy topic of duscussion.

But, in the end, we all know that the Perp (most likely) isn't going to jail for this.

And, then the RW will be onto the next case of characterizing a Simple Assault as "Attempted Murder".

    It never fails.

depends on the reason they laugh, most of the time they are laughing at being called idiots, because they know how wrong it is.

Not to mention its not PC, the pc crowd has a tendency to express some of the most non pc attitudes and broadbrush stereotyping.

I'm 100% against Keith Ellison being President. Trump's comments and actions against free speech have not been limited to the event in question. Also, the protestor was not preventing Trump from speaking.

If you actually back up what you say, then do you support enemies of free speech being President or not? I've made my decision. I look forward to your compromises.
