Oh so now the RIGHT wants background checks. I thought the NRA and it's constituency blocked all attempts at background checks? Which is it? If liberal policies didn't keep putting guys like the one wearing the mask back on the street because prison makes criminals sad, then the problem wouldn't exist in the first place to the degree it does.
the right always seems to disagree with me that all Americans should have the right, they think people that committed crimes in the past and\or have mental issues should be denied that right I believe everyone has the right, as long as they are a free American and not a ward of the state or a guardian, children and prisoners of course would be controlled by those in control of them do you agree? .
I don't have a problem with NONVIOLENT felons regaining their rights. Someone who has murdered someone, robbed someone with a gun, performed a home invasion, raped someone at gunpoint, etc should never be let out of prison in the first place. Use violent force on someone, spend the rest of your life behind bars. Period. But like I said, not all "felons" are equal when it comes to being dangerous with a gun.
I agree, if you think someone is too dangerous to have a gun, then the sentence should be LWOP once a person has paid their debt to society... all punishment should end, that is the way our system is supposed to be .

"Israeli style" also known as condition 3, means the magazine is seated but no round is chambered. When she pulled the gun out she chambered a round then fired the shot.
someone that has murdered someone should be behind bars for life, anyone that has paid their debt to society should have ALL their rights restored if we wanted the punishment to be longer, then the sentence should of been longer, that is the way our legal system is supposed to work now if owning a gun was not a constitutional right and was more like the privilege of driving a car, then that would be different every free American should have the right to own a gun to protect their family and homes.. and hunt to put food on the table if they so choose .
Agreed. Obviously our system doesn't work well, if it did we would have a gun violence rate that consists 80-90% of 2nd + offenders. Someone sticks a gun, or a knife, or any weapon in your face and commits violence toward another human being should be locked up. Permanently. That alone would cut the murder in this country in half overnight.
Anytime a criminal decides to carry out a carjacking or home invasion or purse snatching there is a chance that the intended victim will react and shoot them at close range.. What's the problem?
The problem is when they're successful and get the better of their victim, serve 5-6 years, and then do it again.
I noticed the Israeli carry too. Pistol looks like a Glock, I'd pick a 26 over a 19. Interesting video. You can see the blowback in the back of the mask, but no splatter. The round might have fragmented, but I'd still expect to see visible blood/brain/skull matter despite the mask. She might have just grazed him with the round dissecting through the scalp, knocking him cold in the process. I saw this once and it put the guys lights out for a while. Nevertheless she's very quick, well trained in the presentation and strong because the mutt can't pull the purse off her. The video might also be foreign and she may very well be Israeli. If the video is real, I'd say the second scenario with a graze is more probable. She doesn't scan and clear after the shooting, and reverses direction while putting the pistol back in her purse pretty quickly. Can't explain that one easily.
agree, we spend to much time locking up people with long sentences for prohibition related crimes.. and then putting dangerous people back in society, we even have a list of people so dangerous they need to be on a list..... these kinds of people shoudl be the ones locked up, not people just trying to have a good time on the weekends .

The Israeli carry is interesting to say the least and controversial at that but they didn't invent it. Fairburn and Sykes were the first to codify it. There was guy in Houston promoting and teaching this system along with IDF self defense methods and was doing pretty good with the Jewish community there after a number of home invasions targeted the Meyerland neighborhood. I don't know if he's still active. I did see and hear Clint Smith denigrate the method personally. Then he went on to describe about some stuff he had done with cowboy action shooting and revolvers.
