As an egalitarian I believe inequalities are wrong when those inequalities are a result of discrimination regardless of race and gender.

Are you oppressed because of gender? If so, how and where?

In Bangladesh, one of the few countries to have a female leader, Sheikh Hasina has held an election, the run-up to which has been in violation of Bangladesh’s constitution. There is much coverage of her shutting down opposition newspapers and arresting members of opposition parties, as well as arresting and holding the wives of male opposition members and removing their veils.

Eliminating feminist teacher bias erases boys' falling grades, study finds
    https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/el...es-study-finds
a five year University study has shown why boys are failing

Female teachers are just deliberately marking boys down – even when they do better in tests and exams than their female counterparts.

A five-year research project, funded by the Departments of Education and Justice in Northern Ireland, found “systemic flaws” in teaching techniques led to teachers discriminating overtly against male students.

Wrong! Four theories about cultural suppression of female sexuality are evaluated. Data are reviewed on cross-cultural differences in power and sex ratios, reactions to the sexual revolution, direct restraining influences on adolescent and adult female sexuality, double standard patterns of sexual morality, female genital surgery, legal and religious restrictions on sex, prostitution and pornography, and sexual deception. The evidence favors the view that women have worked to stifle each other’s sexuality because sex is a limited resource that women use to negotiate with men, and scarcity gives women an advantage.

Women are mean to other women who act promiscous.

women are extremely unlikely to make false accusations of male sexual misconduct
Empirical evidence does not support the widespread belief that women are extremely unlikely to make false accusations of male sexual misconduct. Rather the research on accusations of rape, sexual harassment, incest, and child sexual abuse indicates that false accusations have become a serious problem. The motivations involved in making a false report are widely varied and include confusion, outside influence from therapists and others, habitual lying, advantages in custody disputes, financial gain, and the political ideology of radical feminism.

"1 in 5 women will be sexually assaulted in college on campus" is thoroughly debunked by August Løvenskiolds

Main flaws in the study in http://www.ncjrs.gov/pdffiles1/nij/grants/221153.pdf)::

5,446 women enrolled at two universities were asked to participate in the survey, less than 43% did (42.2% and 42.8%, page x/11). Not much is known about the 57% of women who declined the paltry $10 bribe the CSA authors paid the students who wasted 15 minutes clicking through the online form, but the authors imply that their overall findings can be extrapolated to the entire campus population of women - a shaky assertion at best. Digging down into the CSA, even the authors admit that “It is logical to surmise that students who did not participate in a survey about sexual assault may differ from those who did participate” [page 3-7/48].

The majority of sexual assault victims of both types reported that the incident had happened off campus (61% of incapacitated sexual assault victims and 63% of physically forced sexual assault victims)” not on campus.

Campbell and her co-authors made the false statement “Femicide, the homicide of women, is the leading cause of death in the United States among young African-American women aged 15 to 45 years.” by misquoting the The [1998 DOJ] study which does not say that intimate-partner homicide is the leading cause of death among African-American women.

In Revolution from Within, Glroria Steinem asserts that 150,000 women and girls in the United States die from anorexia every year -- multiplying the actual number by about 1,000. (As Christina Hoff Sommers documented in her 1994 book, Who Stole Feminism?, the claim of a 150,000 death toll was based on a feminist professor’s mangling of a statistic referring to anorexia sufferers.) The same book discusses an alleged crisis in girls’ self-esteem based on a single shoddy study from the American Association of University Women.,

    Women never Lie about rape
53% rape cases are false in india, says delhi commision of women: http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report...-women-2023334

The infamous Eugene Kanin study found a 41% false rape figure in a small metropolitan community. A follow up study, found 50% of rape allegations in college to be false. Among the false charges, 53% of the women admitted they filed the false claim as an alibi.

Over eight of ten (81%) who said that they knew someone falsely accused answered that the falsely accused party was male. Nearly seven in ten (69.9%) of those falsely accusing were female. These results indicate very strongly that false accusations and their aftermath loom very large in the landscape of men’s lives. And while there are falsely accused females out there, the issue is one that can be fairly identified as generally an act of aggression against men

Among the false charges, 53% of the women admitted they filed the false claim as an alibi.

    http://www.archive.org/details/FalseRapeAllegations

US Air force study confirms 60% of rapes to be false, a full 27% of the allegations were confirmed to be false because the woman admitted to making them up.
    http://www.ipt-forensics.com/journal/volume6/j6_2_4.htm

Over eight of ten (81%) who said that they knew someone falsely accused answered that the falsely accused party was male. Nearly seven in ten (69.9%) of those falsely accusing were female. These results indicate very strongly that false accusations and their aftermath loom very large in the landscape of men’s lives. And while there are falsely accused females out there, the issue is one that can be fairly identified as generally an act of aggression against men

Feminism Women selected 2 to 1 over men in STEM
For decades, sexism in higher education has been blamed for blocking women from landing academic positions in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields.
But a new study by Cornell psychologists suggests that era has ended, finding in experiments with professors from 371 colleges and universities across the United States that science and engineering faculty preferred women two-to-one over identically qualified male candidates for assistant professor positions.
Published online April 13 in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the paper, “National Hiring Experiments Reveal 2:1 Faculty Preference For Women on STEM Tenure Track,” by Wendy M. Williams, professor of human development, and Stephen J. Ceci, the Helen L. Carr Professor of Developmental Psychology

Sure...I graduated with honors with a bachelors of science including earning one of two high distinctions in Applied Molecular Biology yet found it seemingly impossible to get a job in science.

Most of the jobs in science are with the state, federal government, or universities and all those places select people on the basis of gender and race.

    For example,

The College Affirmative Action Plan and programs are established in accordance with regulations promulgated by the Federal Office of Contract Compliance Programs, Federal Executive Order 11246, Rehabilitation Act Section 503, Governor's Executive Order 93-07 Affirming Commitment to Diversity and Equity, Re-establishing Affirmative Action and Prohibiting Discrimination, Governor's Executive Orders 89.01, 96-04 and 98-01, RCW 28 B.10, 39.19, 41.06, 49.60, and 49.74. Consistent with Federal and State law, the plan provides for equal opportunity and non-discrimination in all aspects of college employment regardless of protected group status: race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or veteran status.

    Racist, sexist, bigot scumbag? Haha.
I work full time as an administrative assistant making $12/hr. I'm a 39 year old female with three kids. Married 20 years to a man in corporate management. We married young. Got pregnant at 20, left college and spent two decades as a stay at home mom. Went back to college last year with the help of Pell and Stafford as a nursing student.
Live in south-suburban Atlanta. Coweta County, Georgia is my locale.
I fail to understand your attitude toward gender in the US.
Have you been a victim someway of feminism? If so, how?

    Not true.

IWomen are probably more likely to be raped than men, yes and it is a huge problem. However, this does not mean men do not get raped. Just take a look at how many American men in prison who are raped each year or how many little boys fall victims for sexual abuse/pedophilia. We live in a dishuting society. Domestic abuse affects men too.

Although important issues, poor examples of "male privlege".

Because of Feminism. Furthermore, men are equally sexualized in media today because we live in a promiscious society that apparently wants sex, otherwise it would have died out long time ago. Supply+demand, simple economics. Marginalized? Bollox. How?

What about suicide rates? Death at work place? Victims of robbery+violence?

We live in an awful society and claiming one group is more pirvleged than the other is just disgusting.

I believe people in those capacities are hired because of credentials, friends, experience, gender, and race. I don't think it has anything to do with sexism. It has everything to do with politics. Diversity is popular. Having friends in high places is beneficial. Pursuing advantageous partnerships, securing influence, securing positive press... It is business.
Bet the next presidential candidates will pick minority or female running mates. Why? Not qualifications.

Men and women are different and are treated differently. It's a fact. I believe both genders are given pretty equal opportunities. Both genders have demonstrated that men and women can achieve in any endeavor.
American society seems hell bent on ignoring and dismissing gender differences rather than appreciating them. I think I understand why for the most part. It has pros and cons.
How many bodyguards of presidents and royals are female? How many professional movers? Auto mechanics? Construction workers? Mostly men.
Elementary school teachers? Nurses? Counselors? Psychologists? Social workers?
    Predominantly women.
Why? Women as a whole are instinctively maternal. Women are better at caretaking and nurturing. Women are drawn to it, find purpose and fulfillment in it.
Men are physically better suited for jobs that require strength. Men are not generally satisfied or apt to be the stay at home parent. Men are more instinctively driven to be providers for their families.
Men hold most dangerous jobs. Men are more likely to have more cash on them. Men are more likely to resort to suicide when they feel inept as providers-ie, losing a job.
