There are a bunch of folks who say the world's population is just too great. Pandemics have killed 1/4 to 1/3 of the population. Maybe the next big one is right around the corner. That would be around 2 billion people or more. Imagine that. Check this out everybody. Interesting take.
Nah, growth is the problem. When pandemic strikes again, as nature will surely insist, most folk won't be able to get a drink of clean water, let alone any medicine. Against this background we are led by the nose by inhuman shhitheads who want to continue bombing other people. They really do believe that Armageddon is their salvation and they are anxious to play their part. When thay talk about ' growth ' they are referring to the means to support the military-industrial complex which is, slowly but surely, killing us all.
And the growth is usually in the poorest parts of the world. Families in economically stable countries don't have many children on average. I used to be a participant in antiwar rallies. But ever since Obama started dropping 'humane' bombs, the crowd has dried up.

Actually, I don't think they do. China's problem isn't the number of people they have, it's the average age of their population. A one child policy is "aging" the Chinese to rich western nation levels, without the infrastructure of a rich country to support so many in the steadily increasing elderly group. If I was an adviser to the Chinese government, I would advice them to go to a 2 child policy. People are cheating under the current rules anyway, so why criminalize them? Also it would reduce pressure on couples to have a male, which seems to be favored in that culture. They already have a severe sex imbalance because of infanticide and selective abortion. They would be less likely to get rid of the girls if they had a do over to produce a son.
