I would be willing to just give them California without the Alberta in the deal.

Excluding military bases and control over ports and water ways, and make sure all California residents go with it, I would say have at it.

California is a huge money maker for the US.
If that were to happen, the US might be left looking like England after Brexit!

If Californians and Albertans agree, I'm all for it.

Thankfully, Mexico remained neutral in WW2 when Germany was pressuring Mexico to let them use their ports.

Is the President Trump comments about Canada as a fifty first state meant to boost the power and influence that the province of Alberta has in Ottawa?

Alberta is the most "conservative" of all Canadian provinces.

I could be wrong... I often am.....

but it seems to me as if President Trump wants to set up the Canadian Province of Alberta to be far more influential in Ottawa than Quebec has been over these past sixty years.

I don't think that any intelligent person would laugh at Mr. Jagmeet Singh if he were to buy a house somewhere in Alberta and begin to campaign for the office of Premier of that province!!!!

......Here is my own suggestion for Mr. Jagmeet Singh.......

I suggest that he put together a film production cooperative and - or kibbutz out of some of the brightest minds that he can find in his N. D. P.

Our old friend from back in Nova Scotia, Mr. Jim Boudreau should become a "Consultant" for him and for this film production kibbutz or cooperative, because my family and I have known Jim since 2006 if not earlier.

Jim Boudreau can testify that I am not exactly good at diplomacy.... but I am extremely truthful........

While at his home for a NDP meeting ... I think it was in 2006.... I tested the water to see if I could fit in in his NDP.........

At the meeting I said that Mr. Peter MacKay deserved to be given credit for his tendency to HIRE UP as exemplified by a particular office assistant that Mr. MacKay had in Antigonish..........

that was a no - no and I was never invited back to another NDP
meeting.... but now with Trump as USA President my tendency to attempt to build bridges across political boundaries could be more useful from 2025 to 2030 and on.. .and on and on and on.....

So... i would suggest that Mr. Jagmeet Singh go down to his bank and purchase one hundred thousand Argentinian Pesos in 1000 Peso notes and look at that bundle as a PROP in a series of films that goes on and on and on and on and on and on......

In my opinion... Mr. Jagmeet Singh must prove that HE IS A DIPLOMAT WHO CAN SPEAK WITH CANADIAN AND AMERICAN 'CONSERVATIVES" AND STILL BE RESPECTIVE AND TRY HIS BEST TO COME UP WITH WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN OPTIONS THAT ARE GOOD FOR ALL FORTY ONE MILLION CANADIANS.........

I would rather send all the America-hating Californians to Alberta, keep California in the States, and invite Conservative Canadians to join us down here!

Fascinating..... that could well fit with my diabolical plan to boost Hollywood North, [the Greater Toronto Film Industry] perhaps by getting them to ally with the Calgary, Alberta film industry that has a great deal of control over all of Alberta.

Two percent of the population of Alberta are Latter day Saints and I believe that they are in a position to pretty much take control of Christianity due to the fact that they take near death experience accounts seriously.
