We all know the story of watergate and what happened. We now have mass surveillance at multiple scales. We have political campaigns that hacked their opposing party. They spied on Trump not with bugs but they definitely tapped into his systems. Democrats defend this. secondly we have the NSA who monitor every phone in America. Store recorded conversations and texts in a huge database and have that information just waiting to be looked at for any political reason someone may deem appropriate to monitor or read to get info to possibly destroy lives. Also defended by both parties and renewed by every president since its creation. both of these examples are without a doubt worse than watergate. So my question to you all is this. Was watergate a bad thing?
