I wouldn't want to get rid of welfare. While we have the bums and low lifes on it, there's also people who are just struggling and need help. I think there are exceptions.

I'm all for mandatory drug testing of welfare recipients, though.

I agree that capitalism is a good thing, and socialism is bad. However, some limited temporary help should be there for people who are down on their luck and struggling (single moms come to mind).
