The problem isn't the disappearance of white genes. It's the death of the idea of the unique existence of one people. What killed the idea was the destruction of assimilation.

Racial diversity, ethnic diversity, etc. is good because it ensures hybrid vigor. That isn't the issue as you know.

The death of assimilation meant the death of a shared consciousness and identity.

The melting pot required that everyone jump in feet first. The heat of the pot melted each of us down until we were lost in a figurative sense. However, in the course of the process of melting new ingredients all of the old ingredients took on a new character. The fire tempered the iron, and made steel.

All of that has been replaced by multiculturalism now. Identity politics. Separate identities. Balkanization. Closed hearts.

When I was a kid we didn't even think of Italians as white. And I'm half Irish...we weren't white at one time. But we jumped into the melting pot. We lost our separate identity, and preexisting Americans lost their separate identity as well. To become something new and better.

This has been lost. More's the pity my friend.

I'd then extend an opportunity to detail some aspects of said unique existence that would dissipate with the eventual removal of the idea. Nothing we've witnessed appears to be an unnatural phenomena.
