Well, me being a fascist, yes and no. That is kind of what fascism is. It is a strong authoritative government with conservative values mixed with social progressive policy. I would say the State should be in control of pretty much everything, and regulate economy, but not like socialism. You would have to buy and sell from and to the State, who would get their stuff from workers, who they employ and pay for their work by buying their goods. They would set the prices. As for industrial work, also employed by the State and the State would buy out raw materials produced and mined by workers and then send them to State-owned factories who would then produce the product and sell it back to the State who would then sell it to the people. What you get is a system where everyone gets paid and the country makes money through the economy as well. You also get everything to be federally paid for and run and overseen, so everyone would be a State employee. This in turn would allow for the State to set up the social policies and programs to run a country. Its essentially controlled capitalism.

I am a pro-choice, anti-capital punishment, in favor of death with dignity legislation, pro- gay marriage, a strong advocate for separation of church and state, oppose flag protection amendment etc. I don't see why I would, if I can find a candidate who is neither a social or economic conservative.

This is just the Democratic Party - their social liberal credentials are highly suspect.
