Not a single repub candidate represents working americans and the middle class. So far on the dem side, only Sanders represents you. That you cannot discern your own best self interests is due to clever right wing propaganda that appeals to the emotions. With most people, emotions will always Trump rationality. And no one does it as well as the republican party. But they had a good mentor, Goebbels.

I think Donald Trump is the best the GOP has to offer, and hope that Republicans rally to his support in the primary process.

He is the bridge between the privileged establishment elite wing that controls the Party and the alienated ilk that grovel before entertainment media celebrities.

To get the latter wee wee'd up, he should disinter that delightful "Birther" business, and revile those nebulous albeit ubiquitous "Liberals! Liberals! Liberals!" constantly and stridently. (That really turns them on!)

Speak or yourself! Sanders sure as hell doesn't represent me! You want a president who has NO ONE from his party in Congress right from day one? If you want to live in a socialist country, you have an ample selection to choose from in Europe! What's keeping you here?

Come on. We both know Americans love socialism. Who could blame them after the last 30+ years of wealth redistribution from the poor and middle class to the 1%. It's true and Americans are catching on. Maybe not in time for 2016, but it's going to change. The people will demand it.

He went bankrupt at two points, and in a business where people literally give you money for nothing

    No, you are confused.

I have consistently described the twice-popularly-elected president as "mediocre."

Anybody who would run the government like a business, and where constantly running in the red would not be tolerated....I'm all for.

Even if their solution to the deficit is to raise taxes substantially on very wealthy people to increase revenue?

Moot point. I think anybody who thinks like Trump would be targeting waste, fraud, fat, and unnecessary and bogus entitlements.

That's how businesses are run. You cut costs. Yes....you can also increase top line revenue, but there comes a point where the market doesn't support price increases.

And there are certainly areas where that would make sense. However doing these things also costs money. People do this and they get paid for it. Our government already has many employees who's job it is to uncover and charge people with fraud of government entitlements. Fact is, only so much can be done. It's very hard for example to catch people who go to the store, buy a bunch of groceries for someone else with their EBT card and immediately sell them to this other person. How would that be stopped?
