    Let's say Obama

    -Balanced the Budget
-Got to Unemployment Rate to a low level
-Didn't do healthcare with a mandate
    -Got Congress to be Bipartisan

Would you vote for Obama in 2012?

I would NEVER vote for Obama....he's a tyrant, and he is taking our country down as fast as he can, at an accelerated rate now that he realises he's on his way out.

the main reason I would vote for Obama is if Romney was running against him

We already know Obama is a case for the local psych unit

the real fear is to discover just how liberal Romney will prove to be.

If Obama manages all this between now and next November, I won't need to vote for him, because he would obviously be the ruler of all time, space and dimension and a mere election won't stand in his way !

That would all be a bonus, but let's look at it realistically:

Obama - OBL Check, Kadaffy Check, Health Care Check, Auto Industry Check, a well spoken, intelligent guy with a core of human decency.

    vs

Romney - a flip flopper to the point he doesn't know what he believes anymore?
Newt - a complete dirtbag of a human being who has flopped as much as Romney?
Cain - a simple minded dirtbag who thinks there is a conspiracy to take him down?
Perry - a guy who is so stupid that he doesn't realize how stupid he is?
Bachman - hoping to rise to stupid some day?
Huntsman - the only real option for an intelligent debate, but none of the leadership qualities or new ideas needed.

Balance the budget? How about submit a budget that even one senator would vote to pass?

Unemployment rate isn't his responsibility. So far, absolutely nothing is his reponsibility.

I don't want government healthcare with or without a mandate. Whatever is done my healthcare will degrade and my costs will go up.

I wouldn't vote for Obama if I saw a flock of pigs flying over and that's clearly more likely than any of your scenarious.

It's like asking, would you vote for Hilter if:

-He was not a genocidal maniac?
-He was not trying to take over the world?
-He did not want full control over every aspect of our lives?
    -He shaved his mustach?

You know the real answer. Most of the Obama haters would still not vote for Obama if he single handedly cured cancer, paid out of his own pocket to eliminate our entire deficit and converted China to a Democratic Republic.

    The hate runs too deep.

Now- I may or may not vote for Obama, based upon
    a) the economy and
    b) who the alternative is. If the Republicans nominate a moderate, I might well vote for one. If my alternative is a radical right wing Republican or Obama, I will vote for Obama.

    NotDependant...
First, I would NEVER vote for anybody without some business experience or any person advocating "Social Justice" as American. I prefer to stick with our Constitution for any change, not any party. Second Obama has a record now and balancing the budget does not show up in any future budget his administration has offered.

His economic advisers, under his direction advised us, that for about a trillion dollars, unemployment would stay below 8%, while others were saying this could be done naturally through the Private Sector if deregulation was applied to action. While one by one his Economic Advisors, quit Government Figures increased to over 9%, is the figure, with less jobs even available and some Economist are suggesting 25 Million are unemployed, under employed or quit looking (real unemployment near 20%) and we're 4 TRILLION dollars deeper in debt.

The mandate is the "cash register" of his HC Bill, which includes such things as financing any "Higher Education" could break the bank. Most know full well, "Single Payer" is the goal and can be achieved if the bill withstands courts rulings and four more years of for him to create executive orders....

Members of Congress, House/Senate, represent their State or district and are not supposed to be bipartisan to their constituents and IMO it's not the job of the executive to dictate any legislature policy. They are responsible to administer and enforce what Congress legislates, according to the Constitution and resulting law.

    Why is the poll closed?

But both parities put the party above the people. We then all vote for 'a' party who puts themselves ahead of the country.

If you ask me, both parties benefit form this blind hate, the blinder the better. This is because if there were no such strong feelings, more than likely the general public would not become politically active for or against candidates. After all, if you were of the opinion that either party will pretty much attain the same ends, would you vote for either? Having said that, is there much different between "W" and Obama, for example? Both create massive debt and entitlements and wars abroad and ignore illegal immigration and corporate bail outs courtesy of the tax payer etc. No one really likes the policies by in large, rather, they just vote in fear about some other manufactured irrational issue.

I guess what I am saying is that the best way to get people to come together is to create a common enemy whether it be manufactured or real. What can I say, it's how we tick and they exploit that truth. Therefore, we vote against what we hate, not what we like. If we voted for what we like none of these people would ever see a second term. Conversely, if we did not have strong feelings one way or another, no one would vote. If that ever happened, where would their legitimacy come from? It would be rather embarassing for a "democratic" system to have next to no voter turn out. Their legitimacy would evaporate overnight.

To sum up, it is my contention that this "hate" is not only hoped for by both parties, it is also manufactured for their very success and existence.

Look, I understand that you're partisan and you're going to defend Obama just because he plays for your team, but please try to at least stay in touch with reality. Watch this and tell me you still think Obama is well spoken.

    I do. Absolutely.
I think I'm pretty sharp, but have me speak continuously for a living and give you years to follow me around and I guarantee you will be able to splice together a pretty good gag reel.
