Wouldn't heaven lose its specialness if everyone who accepts jesus/god were there

What is the point of getting accepted into heaven if all people have to do is accept jesus or god into their life despite what they did and how they lived prior to it?

The way I understand it, a guy who killed good people early on in life could later on in life change his ways and put his faith in god and be accepted into heaven and a non believer who lived his/her whole life respectably wouldn't go to heaven.

So heaven is full of really bad people..

So heaven cannot really be that special.

Mark Twain wrote that he'd prefer hell for the company, over heaven and its climate. But if accepting the Christian mythology is the key to heaven, then I'd take hell for both the company AND the climate.

It has to be better than the alternative. I would say that not having the screechy anti-God people there would be a plus.
