This was odd. Did you per chance re-edit these links? I had one open that I was able to read in article form that did in fact show the parties and the incitement charge , but it did not show a result. I can't duplicate the result because these two left here offer now say only these highlights bullets but I cannot get the 'read' link to open.
    • Story Highlights
    • Trial begins in civil lawsuit against the Imperial Klans of America
    • Southern Poverty Law Center alleges Klan incites violence against minorities
    • "Grand Wizard" Ron Edwards expected to testify
    • Case stems from teen's beating at county fair in Kentucky"
    and this
    • Story Highlights
    • Verdict includes $1.5 million compensatory damages, $1 million punitive
    • "We look forward to collecting every dime" says SPLC trial attorney Morris Dees
    • "Grand Wizard" Ron Edwards testifies "I stay within the law"
    • Case stems from teen's beating at county fair in Kentucky

I can't even find the names of the parties to google to see if there was an appeal.

Thats a bit hypocritical of you. All police are guity of killing somebody because some police did?

Using that logic we can blame all Muslims for terrorism.

I didn't edit anything, as you can clearly see my post is un-edited.

So clearly, we have precedent to go after the BLM groups.

Your initial challenge was the 35 year caveat because the KKK hasn't been very active in the last 35 years.

Fact remains, they were successfully prosecuted many times, and so can BLM.

Sue whoever organized the protest, whoever filed the permits. I'm not the lawsuit type personally but if all the store owners and people delayed due to street blocking even if it's for melted ice cream, go for it.

This is just red meat for the rightwing. You would have to actually prove that BLM directly caused this, and since you can't, the point still stands.

So the only difference between the far right and the far left is whom they dislike

    You poor thing.

Here's your clue: DeRay Mckesson and four other Black Lives Matter leaders are named as defendants in the suit filed Friday

Whatever the BLM movement intended to be or thought it would be is dead and gone. It's now nothing more than a group of people who incite violence and hate, who obviously have no other job to show up for so this gives them something to do with themselves. The BLM has created more hated and disdain in itself as others around the country have seen what their "protesting" has caused. It's over. NO one wants to hear you any longer.

Agreed, the current political climate in our country is poisonous and counterproductive, and it definitely feels like for the first time in our esteemed history, that we're just like any other country prone to counter-revolutions and coup attempts. I hope that we're able to nip this in the bud, before it becomes worse.

Dylan Roof never cited Fox News as a reason for his actions, how much fake news do you want to peddle today against the legitimate interests of our countrymen?

Frankly (sadly) all you have to do is harass them with a small army of lawyers and a mountain of suits forcing them to defend themselves over and over. It's quite a deterrent. I'm actually surprised there haven't been 100 similar suits.

People don't have the money to waste in a courtroom, besides that, the federal government should already declare that BLM and other such organizations that have taken to arm against our leos are terrorist organizations and must be subdued for the rule of law.

CLIMATE OF HATE: Injured Baton Rouge police officer sues Black Lives Matter, Deray McKesson. “Friday’s lawsuit claims Mckesson was ‘in charge of’ a July 9 protest that ‘turned into a riot.’ Mckesson ‘did nothing to calm the crowd and, instead, he incited the violence’ on behalf of Black Lives Matter, the suit alleges.”

It’s hard to meet the Brandenburg test for incitement. But if a humorous GIF counts as incitement to violence — and CNN says it does — then it’s hard to see how BLM and McKesson get by. They’d better hope that the jurors don’t watch CNN. Which, statistically, is a very good bet . . . .

This is a good point regardless of the nature of the civil case. If you or your corporate sponsors have enough money to throw at 'billable hours' budget, you can make someone's life a living hell until they can't make their mortgage, their electric bill and pay for their own defense and the obligatory investigation hours involved the same month. Even if the defendant is sure he will eventually be re-imbursed for court costs after judgement, it does not help in the year or more it takes to get into a courtroom That is a serious problem lawmakers should take up .

It's not about being original, lies and deceitful attempts just hurts your fellow countryman and women and you're doing it because you're spiteful of Donald Trump. Live with it. I didn't agree with everything Obama did, but I never maliciously lied about his presidency either.

People are forced to pay attention now, that's one result of the protesting. In any case, it's just like someone to point the finger when the actual assailant isn't around anymore, always gotta blame somebody.

People paying attention? No, it's more angering people at this point, they are not accomplishing anything but creating anger from the public who are getting sick of it. They are sick of the so called protests that turn into violence, looting, assaults, blocking highways, etc. You think that is making people pay attention to their cause?

We also talk about mass murders, brutal rapes, and terror attacks.
