That was not your argument. Your argument was that it was "unfair" for whites... as they are so easily dominated. You know... I don't normally engage you. I mentioned you in the Dorner thread because your arguments were unusually lucid. This should not be received as encouragement to continue stalking me.
The succeeded argument continues to substantiates that it is indeed unfair to whites, the more 'barbaric' whites are being discriminated by the 'liberal white elitists' when they ban these blue collar sports from the olympics. So it could be construed as not fair, or prejudiced to their white male counterpart.
You guys seem unaware that in the new feminized Olympics, profits and t.v. ratings are driven by estro-centric ladies, that just love synchronized diving, women's gymnastics and other events that can discussed on The View. They virtually drive what is seen of the games and how they are covered. The entire two week event is treated like a reality show mini series (with characters like Kerri, Misti-May, Missy and Gabby providing the story lines) and who wants to see a hairy, sweaty Bulgarian trying to pin another hairy sweaty wrestler when the Fab Five women's gymnastic team is going through their compulsory floor routine? Certainly not the women who would normally be watching the Kardashians or Beverly Hills Housewives but who bond with the ladies in certain Olympic events for two weeks. I can't wait to see what events are introduced to fill the wrestling void. Perhaps competitive Tango dancing or synchronized rhythmic gymnastics.
You do not seem to understand their basic right to engage in dangerous behavior of their own free will... Weren't you, in a past PF persona, a girl who rode a hyabusa? I don't know of anyone permanently (*)(*)(*)(*)ing retarded because of MMA. I can list several football/boxing pros who were.
It is not civilized to engage in dangerous behavior, and should not be condoned in the name of liberty. It promotes irresponsibly on one of the biggest sports platforms, the olympics, and was justly banned. Responsible and safe competition would be pursued by responsible and safe competitors, not violent combat which influences and is pursued by the lower classes of society. Wrestling and MMA are not responsible competitive sports, because they influence violence in the general population. That is not a societal burden that should be under taken in this climate of change.
Yeah, this is pretty ridiculous. I hope there is some kind of protest to this, I hope it gets overturned.
At least they have golf now. Wrestling is so buried on the TV coverage I don't think I have seen Olympic wrestling in 20 years.
This is absolutely .. utterly .. completely wrong. What are you talking about Wrestling is universal .. and it is one of the most pure of sports. Wrestling is what makes the UFC much safer than say ... boxing but regardless .. competitive wrestling has zero to do with the UFC. You can not hit your opponent or use submission locks in wrestling.
Riding a motorcycle has nothing to do with condoning violent combative sports in the olympics. The two are mutually exclusive, people can safely ride on motorcycles. They can't safely compete in combat in any form, it harms the body over time. Not mentioning that it promotes a culture of violence, which has nothing to do with riding a bike as well.
Motorcycles are inherently dangerous. Agree or disagree? Most people who ride, crash at one point or another. True or not true?
Motorcycles don't promote a culture of violence, as combat sports do. That is the point. The olympics would be perpetuating an endless cycle of violent culture, if they allowed wrestling to continue. It is just a beginning, but dreams like this must start somewhere.
Boxing is even worse with the head gear. It's nearly impossible to knock someone out, not that anyone really cares all that much about boxing anymore.
Wait until the gay lobby gets wind of this! Interior decoration will just go haywire on a massive scale!
Well, if the Olympic Committee had decided to replace wrestling with synchronized tax-raising, underwater deficit-spending, and race-card juggling, we might have done it sooner!
That's YOUR point... you don't get to decree the point of my argument. It's relevance can be determined after that has been absorbed. Violence, is our culture. Competition, is our culture. Men, being men, impressing women through feats of strength are our culture. Your argument was that it was dangerous... and therefore the competitors (which are all races...) represent an exploitation of white people. Your argument has no legs, so I chose to address what you previously attempted to faith your argument on. If you would now like to move the goal posts... K... that's fine. I will address YOUR point... once you acknowledge you are moving the goal posts. Until then I would like to try and make MY argument. Professional motorcycle racers sustain ridiculous injuries on the track. We are hurling around 350 lb missiles at speeds approaching 200 miles an hour... We scrape the earth and each other. We ALL got (*)(*)(*)(*)ing scars.
So you're saying you want them to bring in those who may not be qualified to fight? This kind of racism is sad. The best qualified should play/fight. If you're not good at it, don't whine about racism, work at it and get better. This dumbing down is why our planet is in the (*)(*)(*)(*)ty state that it is in. Quit lowering the standards for political correctness. (*)(*)(*)(*) PC.
This is what happens when incompetent leftist losers run the world. Shere and utter stupidity is the result.
Wrestling is not violent , it is just strength and technique and in GrecoRoman you are not even allowed to use your legs . Together with Boxing and a couple of other sports were in the program since the ancient Olympics . Best athletes come from Asia so really not a "white men's" sport , not to forget that women wrestle as well.
