Many liberals, myself excluded, still believe there's a red line that Trump has crossed in the past or will cross in the future that's going to change their opinion of Trump. It's not so, and it will never happen. Trumpers are with Trump no matter what. He can shoot down a commercial Iran jetliner with 544 civilian passengers and it wouldn't matter to them. They would say 'good -- he's showing strength'. He could rape 30 more women, that's if he's still capable of getting an erection, and it wouldn't matter. They would justify it saying 'those women were setups by the 'lubruls' to make him look bad'.

The bottom line here is that there is no offense, no crime and no immoral act that Donald J. Trump could possibly do to lose his base. That's a reflection of the immorality, lack of conscience, and carelessness for their fellow man that his base shares with their president.

 

And no possible thing he has done like doing more for blacks than Obama ever did or standing up to foreign abuse of US trade or abandoning stupid agreements will ever change the minds of the TDS sufferers.

 

I'm wondering what took her so long to bring it to the worlds attention? Why didn't she go to the police and file a complaint when it originally occured? That way it would have been on the record.

They voted for a man that doesn't even read daily briefs given to him by his top security intelligence agencies. He prefers them to be summarized for him verbally. Once hearing them read to him, he doesn't take the guidance they offer him. He listens instead to Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity more than he listens to national security advice from those who know more about our national security than he ever could. And truth be told, he could care less. "Only I can fix it" was a famous quote that the right cheered and applauded despite the fact that common sense tells you that one man alone cannot run the largest, most powerful country in the world. It's sheer ignorance to believe such an astoundingly naive statement. He's motivated solely by unmitigated narcissism. Whatever decisions he makes do not have the welfare of the entire country in mind, they're made based on how his decisions will make him popular with his base.

After learning about the daily, and nearly constant communications between Sean Hannity and Paul Manafort, it struck me just how deeply unprepared Trump was to be president. When a man like Sean Hannity, who isn't a journalist and never even graduated from college, can influence US policy, it's no wonder this country is in the mess we're in today. Anyone that was in his cabinet had genuine knowledge and experience in their specific field like Jim Mattis or H.R. McMaster have left the administration simply because they understood that whatever advice they gave Trump would be discarded and considered insignificant.

So the president of the US listens to Fox whisperers and white supremacist Stephen Miller for all his presidential guidance. This is dangerous and reckless.

 

I see things changing as more women are in positions of power. Young girls are being taught to speak up and not be afraid. Men of power will have a more difficult time hiding what they have done. Modern technology helps us prove what we are saying as truth. (cameras, cell phones.) I believe her, because a statement she said, "I blamed myself" She also had an incident with Les Moonves. Sexual abuse is common. She thought of herself as a strong woman that could handle what happened and went over what SHE could have done to prevent it. She was to BLAME. Society usually blames the woman, Was she looking for it? What was she wearing? What did she say, was she flirting? How could this happen more than once?
Even as a child, I blamed myself. In therapy, I discovered this is a common coping technique. She told her story to two close credible friends, who gave her conflicting advice. She kept the dress as a reminder of something Bad , a teaching lesson to herself. Trump is a very powerful man, would people believe her? No! Just look at all the lies Trump tells and people believe HIM even when you can see and hear him for yourself. There was nothing in it for her, except death threats and being dragged through the mud.. She is in her 70's, accomplished and these men can't hurt her anymore. She found herself, a brave woman helping others. Many people don't come forward because they feel disgusted, ashamed of themselves and probably won't be believed. Sexual abuse is more about power than sex. We all know how Trump is all about power.
