May be you don't understand what is going on and just see what they say in Fox news.

    here ae the simple facts

Poorest state by poverty rate in the country – 8 out of top 10 states are RED state,

Lowest GDP per Capita. Again 8 out of 10 are RED state

Crime rate by Per capita – again 8 out of 10 states are RED state

Homocide rate by per capita. Again 7 out of 10 states are RED state.

Well I clearly expressed the idea that I didn't understand what you were trying to communicate. You've repeated this list of figures a few times. I have no idea what you think you mean by them. Perhaps instead of cut and paste, you could try and explain yourself?

If red states receive more federal money, is the blue state policy not working as intended? How should the blue state policy be fixed to correct this problem you're trying to communicate?

Beyond that, I'll ask you: If California can't figure out it's own problems, how is that a red state policy issue? Why are people leaving California and migrating to red states?

Deja vu. Welp, since you're clearly just regurgitating someone else's argument. I'll just let you vomit that by yourself. Peace out.

It appears as though you will not be able to substantiate your claim. I often see the "If you don't like it, then leave!" argument, Im sure you already know that businesses and earners are fleeing the state. I have deep roots here and would rather give half my income to the government than not be with my family.

Dem control combined with abundant resources and high taxes equals poverty. Results speak for themselves.

No, the point of high federal income tax on the wealthy is to make it seem like taxes are progressive when it is anything but the truth. The wealthy have all kinds of methods of getting out of paying taxes.

The rules for the rich apply to everyone. My wife is a tax attorney/CPA/EA. She makes the point that legislators make tax laws to save themselves money. If you are as knowledgeable about tax laws as they are... you can save lots of money too.

The top 50 percent of taxpayers pay 97.7 percent of federal income taxes.

Are you saying that a welfare recipient in Alabama is somehow less worthy than a welfare recipient in California?

I don't even think he can articulate his claim. I doubt it's "if you don't like it then leave." because he seems to be complaining that the money CA pays to the federal government could be better used on blue states through blue state policy. I mean, I doubt he's claiming that you have to leave a blue state to get the benefit blue state money. But maybe, Ya think? Or is it that red states don't know how to properly spend blue state money so that's why they're poor, while blue state poverty is on the rise not because they don't know how to spend their money, but because they are sending too much of their money to red states? So convoluted.

To make that case, he would first have to show a high level of responsibility with local taxes. While I have been paying taxes for many years, CA politicians allowed our infrastructure to crumble. Now, we have a gas tax on top of a gas tax combined with increased registration fees all for fixing the roads, but I still can't have a cup of coffee in the morning on my way to the office because our road conditions are so poor.

California has a $30 Billion state budget deficit. Texas has a $30 Billion state budget SURPLUS. 'Nuff said.

I am not sure what to say here, but it is the wealthy who have ALWAYS benefited from any system...as it should be [within moderation].

Actually, what I am saying is that there should be ZERO federal income taxes.

So New York should pay for aircraft carriers? Florida buy the bombers? California pay for NASA? Idaho pay for the FAA and Virginia pay for the Dept of Transportation?

Its not about the money. It is about who is spending the money and on what.

The further from the taxpayers control that their taxes travel, the lesser the amount of that money will be spent to the satisfaction of the taxpayers.

If you give a dollar tax to local government, it is spent in that locality. But if you give a tax dollar to a state, at least you know that money will be spent in your state. And, if you give a dollar in taxes to the federal government they will send it to Ukraine...

Raising the minimum wage does not just your wage. It raises the income tax dollars collected from you.

There is a better way to pay for such needs. You never want to tax income so as to discourage productive behavior.
