In the military section, I had a thread closed down to debate. It was called, "Why didn't the allies back Hitler." In the lengthy rules that are meant to crush free speech, there was a highlighted section. It spoke of the establishment of having a respectful debate. But as I said in the title, most people don't deserve respect. So if you talk to them respectfully, you are having respect for their disrespectful acts. Most people are guilty of some horrible things. Like genocide and murdering children. (And I'm not talking about abortion) From what I have seen, all forums have the same sort of rules. And they would have to be freakin high to think that I would treat such people "respectfully."

Maybe they will. At another forum, even talking bringing up the moderators was enough to get me banned. But until that happens, I take it you disagree with something in my thread. Care to tell me what it is?

The are many in this forum who are "Naziphobes." Of course the few actual Nazis left are about 90 years old so don't pose a lingering threat to humanity.

Naziphobes see really any White or White-looking conservative Christian as a "Nazi." That goes double if one is a Trump supporter.
You made a serious error. You committed a thought crime by questioning "Why Didn't the Allies back Hitler."

However, Naziphobes are intolerant of any history besides their version. And they don't like to discuss reality. The reality that our Soviet allies did support Hitler, and were in collusion with him up to Operation Barbarossa. Hitler allowed Stalin to attack Finland and take over the Baltic States. Stalin invaded Poland in 1939 with several divisions, committed genocides, and got to keep the land they grabbed.

Because Nazi =Bad, and Soviet/Commie = Good logic, Naziphobes will never want to discuss why the other Allied Powers never declared war on the Soviet Union for invading Poland. Only a handful of Commies have ever been tried for any war crime in the last 100 years.

I mostly agree with what you say. Except for the part about the Nazis committing genocides when they invaded Poland. My whole life, through school and the mass media, I have hears so much BS about Hitler and WW II in general that I would be inclined to doubt that the Nazis committed any genocides. Though it is a pretty well established fact that the Russians took about 22,000 of their Polish prisoners and executed them in the Katyn massacre. Also, I wrote a thread in the warfare section that may interest you. It is called "Why didn't the allies back Hitler." Unfortunately, it is closed down to debate.

I don't generally converse with people like >>>
also question your use of the word "most", think "some" is more appropriate.

Besides how would you know? Do you just look at someone and go... mmm yeah they look like they just committed a genocide, I'm going to be disrespectful. What if you're wrong?

Is there something in this thread that you disagree with?
No. "Most" is more appropriate. Go to the warfare section and read my thread "Supporting genocide." Take you for instance. Which side in WW II do you support. The allies or the Nazis. If that doesn't do it for you, go to the civil rights section and look at my thread, "A "respectful" dialog about murdering children? Is truth allowed?" Feel free to leave a reply in either.

Maybe your question was too broad and it would have been better to focus on one or two specific countries that could have joined forces with Hitler. In the 1920s England had expected that the US was going to be its enemy in the next war. The US knew that it was going to fight Japan. So England could have been a Hitler ally if things had been handled differently. The US leadership would have never joined Hitler although there was support for Germany in the US but it was allied with Japan, which had opposing goals to the US.

Hitler was a fool for declaring war against the US because he had no means of defeating the US. He needed England to protect his Western flank. Hitler lost the war when he fired the first shot.

Actually it would not be something you said per say, instead the general attitude and personality you project.
