My dermatologist biopsies EVERYTHING and sends it off to the lab. Just read that Tony Gwynn died this morning from a cancer in his cheek. I'm bummed.
only 9 months from when he noticed it to when it was confirmed, how long was it there before he noticed it? how often do you check your back for blemishes?, odds are it was already spread well beyond the blemish when he first went in,... my nephew had his blemish looked at as soon he noticed it, a biopsy confirmed it was cancer, further tests confirmed the cancer had already spread internally, I doubt he'll live more than a couple of years...
