He's just making sure we dont forget to be thankful to the framers of the constitution for pulling the teeth from the religious fanatics.

I already quoted elsewhere, your OP in that thread, where you asked for atheists' values, morals, points of view etc.

Doc Dred: "i implore all who post in the atheistic tradition of writing to offer up their, ideals, there views, yes their non beliefs as they are important, their philosophy on the matter, their way of life, their ethics and morals.."

And I pointed out that I had posted exactly those things in my reply in that thread.

"Ideals... same as most westerners I think. Primarily liberty and equality.
Views... everyone has a million views so this needs to be more specific. Views on religion perhaps? My view is that there are many positives to be identified, but that in an ideal world we would be better off without it. Views on god? My view is that there's no reason to believe one exists.
Philosophy... the most important one is the Golden Rule. Treat others as you would like them to treat you.
Ethics and morals... I think we're all flawed. Like everyone else, I am at times a hypocrite and a liar and more. I think the main take-home point is that it's important to try to recognise these flaws if and when we can, and work on them."

So tell me again how I avoided discussion, and how anyone other than yourself is the liar and troll.

Doesn't mean that what he says is not true!
The Catholic Church is worth $50 billion dollars, do you fault them for that? (I don't, except for of course the fact I think it's all a con.)

The belly button thread is not the best example of modern secular humanism, not at all.
Again, I'm sorry if I accused you of saying dinos didn't exist (but I think some others did imply that as well...anyway, I'm sorry none the less.)

cant ignor truth/reality, forever.... it is upon the head (and god/existence itself) by 'the word'

ignorance can be extinct, while truth is ever present in life

We live within the embodiment of existence (god). Words are the creation of mankind. We are consciously aware of describing 'itself' and nature comprehending itself is that pursuit of knowledge (truth). Eventually the 'last word' (name of god) unveils.

    Guess who?

Not just hard, but obviously a challenge to the faith. It's no wonder that some of the bible's texts discourage the use of reason and learning, claiming that simple faith without bothersome thinking is righteous. It's pure manipulation of uneducated and naive people, and there were PLENTY of them to prey on in the ancient world. Literacy was relatively rare back then..
