Young Alberta teen among new COVID deaths reported Tuesday

Oh your just trying to impress me, but I'll humor you and say "GOOD JOB"!!!!

 

I mean, if you have a terminal diagnosis that primarily weakens your immune system, we know it doesn't take long for COVID to ravage that. To me, properly I'd list covid as a secondary cause of death with the brain cancer being easily the primary cause.

 

Is anyone surprised?

sadly no, when you get covid with a compromised immune system, your outlook is not good

 

They don't automatically record any deaths as COVID deaths, they complete the standard paperwork indicating what they believe the primary and (where relevant) secondary causes of death were. If they thought COVID was relevant in this case, they would have put in the paperwork which would then flow in to the reported statistics.

There is clearly a range of sequences of events that could have occurred here, and I doubt any of us will find out what they actually were. It remains perfectly possible that the doctors in involved were perfectly correct in recording COVID as a secondary cause of death based on their understanding of the case at that time. Whether they were mistaken, more clinical information came to light, there was intentional over-recording or politics has influenced the outcome, we can't know.

 

Subtle but predictable outcome. Desire, more likely NEED, to flame shows itself clearly eventually no matter how hard the attempts to mask.
