Besides the false political claims, there is the fact that there absolutely CAN be a dialog between science and religion. Even the POPE takes part in that!

That interaction is really helped by having people who espouse religious beliefs understanding what science is - what it is capable of, what its limits are, what its founding principles are, how it works. There is a reasonably universal understanding of what religion is, so that seems less of a problem.

When there are problems with understanding what science is what seems to happen involves responding as if it it as a threat and jumping to absolutist defensive positions.

 

There are an estimated 380,000 churches in the U.S. alone. 10/380,000 = 0.00002632. So, in your mind, 10 churches condemn 99.99997368% of the churches in the U.S. Way to go Mr. Grinch!

 

Much of education is. Democrat children learn this within the 1619 project and Common Core systems. Most of the major universities 90% of the teachers and administers are liberal Democrats teaching against capitalism and for socialism. It's trickled down into elementary schools and high schools. Very sad. It's interesting how people under Marxist and Socialist rule are willing to risk their lives to get to America for liberty and freedom with an opportunity to become somebody. I don't see max exodus to Marxist and Socialist countries. When people do move their, they come right back. It took Angela Davis all of 6 months to get out of the U.S.S.R.

What I don't get is what do you socialists/Marxists think will happen to you when it does take over? Socialism only works under authoritarian big governments. And then, it eventually destroys the economy all together. And, it destroys individual freedoms to say what you want, like in here. It destroys the right to express your religious views. It destroys the right to own your own property. What is it that you like so much when it's never worked anywhere else?

There is no more free though in most of our Universities, colleges, high schools and now elementary schools.

 

Seriously ? Most courses aren’t even about politics. So, in most of the major colleges, even administrators teach socialism. Phy Ed, Math, the band, the arts, all have to be included to reach 90%. They, 90% are all registered democrats teaching. If that’s the case, 10% are whom, teaching what ? What is the other 10% teaching and in what classes ?

And, in every class the students get hammered one way or another. Just look at sports in college. You can't say "All lives matter" without being kicked off the team. You have to say only "Black lives matter." You have to make videos supporting racial and social justice (just more words describing socialism and Marxism). It's all over the place! Say just a slur word as a 15 year old in high school and 4 years later you can't get into the college of your choice. That just happened! Probably not on CNN but was on Fox News. And, everyone has to take political classes in History and so on. Indoctrination galore!

 

In my day, they weren't socialist. Only a few. Maybe 10%. But, Bill Ayres and his buddies all went back to school and now have polluted the entire education systems. Oh, there are private universities and schools that haven't lost their way, yet. But, just watch.
